France are a decent shout to go a long way, Benzema's had a great season upfront so I think he'll score when needed just not sure how good the defense is.

France are underdogs this tournament, and I think it's an advantage. They've finally gotten rid of that moron Domenech and Blanc is a very good manager. Think they have a serious chance to atleast reach the semi-finals.

That's a strong team! It's a shame Sagna is injured...
But this team has great chances and the best thing is that Domenech is not the manager.

How is M'Villa injury after the Serbia friendly? Will he still play in other games after England?

I think yes, it's just a big sprain, Alou Diarra play vs England, taller but slower.

Great players and Laurent Blanc! They should easily be #1 in their group!

LOAD of talent but cant bring all those individualy together...

Benzema need to score goals otherwize this team have a big problem...

I a bit agree with lazyForken, it's good players (only Benzema and Ribery are big stars) but all together show nothing yet, win vs Brazil, England and Germany and still undefeated for maybe 20 last games, but we waiting for a good collectif, we see something good during the first half vs Serbia.

Laurent Blanc still hasn't convinced me as being the right man for France.
They do have the best kits of all teams, however...

poor mendes gets boooed, for making the wrong pass then scores ,but doesn`t really celebrate the goal he scored :COAT:

France seem to be enjoying more though :)) than from the WC debacle .

in his old age possibly, but evra when healthy and playing in good form is one of the best left backs over the last ten years in europe... IMO

Hope to see Koscielny start instead of Mexes, he is way better imo. Would love too see Giroud start too, lots of talk about him.:)

I'd like that as well. Especially since Kosc is a little more 'mobile' than Mexes and more 'agile'. Rami is a big guy and so him and Kosc can complement each other nicely!

Anyway for me France have the biggest chance after the Big 3 favourites (Germany, Spain and Holland). This is a very strong squad and finally the team seems united under Laurent Blanc.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go all the way and for Karim or Giroux to be among top goal scorers.

Rami is a beast in aerial challenges. He's one of the most dominants out there.

Yeah, not really been that impressed with Mexès this season and he was poor in the Iceland friendly.

Although I think Blanc will keep him in anyway, he likes him a lot, especially the fact he can drive forward with the ball or play a killer pass from deep, which fits in well with Blanc's philosophy of playing out from the back.

yeah, i also prefere your lineup, but like most in here, i'd have rami playing alongside koscielny. mexes is just too unreliable and like Sina said, rami-koscielny could turn out to be a very well balanced partnership.
as for evra, sure he might not be on his peak anymore, but like gomito said, on his day, he still remains a fantastic leftback.
i gotta say, the more i look at that lineup, the more i like it. i can't very well comment on the team, as i haven't watched france playing in ages, but let's just say i wouldn't be surprised if france had a great tournament. ;)

i take it m'vila is gonna make it in time then? :))
