Anth's FC24 Gameplay Mod

Hey, Anth. Good? Can you tell me if there is any way to disable or decrease the frequency of the CPU's Timed Finishing? I never liked this function and I'm messing with the FET, changing some things from existing gameplay mods, mixing things from one creator with another creator to my preference. So I would like to know if there is any way to change this. It's extremely annoying and dishonest the amount of CPU goals using timed finishing, since my finishes are slower because they are normal.

Hi, it's not something I've experienced personally. Taking things from different modders is never a good idea because you often end up with a mess of a gameplay. Different areas often work together to combine solutions sometimes in places you wouldn't think, so you can be creating issues without realising.

Worse than not. Let's just say I took your FIFA 23 5.0 gameplay and changed some things I didn't agree with, like the speed of passing and finishing, strafe dribbling and other things I can't remember now, based on someone else's gameplay mod who probably used yours as a base and added more changes. What I thought was bad about the gameplay was fixed with these changes I made, but the CPU's Timed Finishing is persistent in any gameplay mod. I always suffer the same types of goals from the CPU with the same type of accurate finishing, even increasing the shooting error slider.
 
Hi, sorry for my English, I wanted to ask you something, I don't mind the original gameplay at all, but I only need three things from you:
1) heavier ball and more tense crosses, now they perform strange parabolas like beach balls
2) goalkeepers who are more effective with their feet and more likely to leave the penalty area.
3) a slight decrease in the frenzy of the game, I mean less fast footballers, but not as wooden as they are now in your mod, who don't run and don't sprint.
in my humble opinion these would be the three things to fix in the original gameplay, for the rest there are the slides

You need to change EBX of error shooting to correct that.

Are you talking about "gp_cpuai_shodecision_runtime"? If so, I've changed the shotError values there, using values from another gameplay mod, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

I think that changing these attributes will change all types of finishes, which isn't the case. When the CPU performs normal finishes, without using Timed Finishing, the shot is fair and similar to the finishes that my player performs.

You can’t directly control the type of shot the cpu takes exactly. You can encourage, but can’t dictate entirely.

I apologize for the inconvenience, as I didn't know where to contact you about this.

It's a shame that you can't disable this CPU kick. It's amazing how EA always makes mistakes...

Not only there, but also the shoot related EBX in kickerror folder. Basically AI kinda knows which shoots are more precise and more likely to go in and adapts and has tendency to do easiest thing between the options available, including passes, shoots, dribbling, etc, etc. It is not exactly like this, I am oversimplifying it, since they have in count team tactics and player ID, but yeah difficulty of the action (and success rate therefore) plays a great role in players decisions, just like irl.

That's the job of the neural net.. FC use diverse neural net to choose the shot, pass, dribble based on the game context

Trying to use mods for the first time. I folow the video tuturial but when i do "launch" i get this error.
and yes, i wrote the quote "-dataPath FIFAModData" in EAAP.
Anyone can help for Fifa mod manager 1.1.6?

Then , the game starts but it doesnt load the mods (cause im using the TEST huge ball)

Did that happen frequently to you? I just wonder because EA doesn´t interact with TU´s for FC 24 anymore. It would make more sense if those issues are coming to your Game when you would talking about FC 25. Because with every TU it could break the game with mods till you do all the fix stuff like deleting the FC 25 Folder in Appdata-temp a.e.
What is still relevant when you launch FC 24 that you never should let the Game online. Either set EA App in offline mode before you start your modded Game or make sure you click once in game the "USER xxx connect to EA Server" notification pops up, click quick to not connect to the EA Servers! Do you already know that?
And if your Game feels changed go to this location on your PC first and delete the FC 24 Folder here like you see on the Screenshots below.

The other Screenshot shows how do you can make your hidden Folders viewable in your Windows Explorer! You need to that only if you can´t see the AppData Folder in your Windows C/User/Username xxx/ Folder structure. If so open your Windows Explorer and at the top choose the english word for it should be called display. On my screenshot it is everything in german but you will find the right one on your PC.

thank you very much for answering me. I had already tried to delete the Fc24 folder in Temp... but nothing changed.. I also deleted fifamodmanager as you said in the previous pages but still the same , gameplay is catastrophic. In fact, when I installed the mod at the beginning it was really «wowwww» after I changed each time my list of mods in fifamodmanager to start a very realistic career and during these changes it was the gameplay which became catastrophic. But before I also played on FIFA 23 with this same gameplay mod and it's not stable as I said today it's so realistic, pure simulation and tomorrow or in a few hours it becomes need for speed. passes like an arrow, central defender who runs like mbappe etc.

What else mods do you have currently installed besides the Gameplay Mod? Can you provide a screenshot from your Mod Manager? Maybe there is a hint to find.
Also do you always delete the "FIFAModData" Folder in your FC 24 Game Folder when you change your Mod Manager Load Order or when you add new Mods or when you delete Mods?? It´s often the case People forget that step and than you have weird Gameplay.

I really guess your mods won´t load 100% complete into Game. But from what I see on your Screenshots there is no other Gameplay Mod accidentally applied besides Anth´s mod. Really odd. Did you try from the v.22 Mod Folder the "Ultra slow" Gameplay Version? And maybe from the Options Folder the slow passing option like you see on my Screenshots below?

So I can´t say this is happening to me with FC 24 GP v.22 in Game. I played 3 weeks before the last Match in FC 24 with the v.22 Mod. For me the regular Version is fine as well as the slow Version related to Gamespeed and passing speed. I expierenced no change. You always click this little arrow to delete the FIFAModData Folder before you launch your modded Game:

for you the gameplay is still intact?? there is never a temporary fault (a moment where everything becomes unplayable but I'm not talking about the imperfection of the gameplay) defender who runs 100km/h with an overall of 65, unrealistic movement, passes like a rocket?? If not, what should I do because I want to benefit from Career mode in the long term instead of panicking every time I launch the game if it's going to be catastrophic gameplay or not.
