Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!
PL a competetive league? the same exact 4 teams are in the race as usuall... nothing new here... you have the odd 5th team which sometimes is spurs sometimes another team like bolton, and now this year its man city... but those teams are never consistently in the top 5, but pool, chelski, arse and manu certainly are, so i dont know how thats competitive when its still the same old same teams contending for the title.. its exciting, but competitive?
Well done to Boro, we were shite though.
With Bolton beating United last month and now this it shows that the PL is in fact a competitive league.
Its a disappointing today but lets put everything into perspective:
* No-one fancied us to be top or even 4th at the start of the season.
* We are currently missing 3 of our most important players and are still top of the league with nearly half the season gone.
* All Arsenal fans would have taken a 1 point lead at the top going into the Chelsea game next week if offered it at the start of the season.
* The title race is going to be very exciting all the way to the end of the season which has to be good for the game as a whole.
Merry Christmas Gooners it could be worse!!![]()
