Toure would be a great signing dunno why you dont want him, Im not too sure about Kranjcar, he's a good player but he would still need to step up.
 
Well Wenger wants someone who has already played in EPL. so Kranjcar would be better for him. But about Toure, i still dont know why Wenger rejected him during the trials. He is excellent and would be really good for Arsenal, the way he plays, infact he could be the next Vieira thats whats been told by the press.

Yeah Vela could be good, lets see how he plays. I want him to be better than Bendtner!! About Nasri, guy could be used as an AMF or in Hleb's place. Really good player!! Does he play DMF too?

Poor fella - Was one of our best players. Don't know much about the French team, but they must have some of the best Left backs in the world if Clichy can't get in!!

Clichy and Sagna, i can understand had tough competition from Evra and Abidal. But they left out Trezeguet, that is real shit!! I dont know why he did that but whatever decision he makes should better make up for NOT including Trez!!
 
Sagna's a RB so he wouldn't be in competition with them, i think Sagnol is Frances first choice? Sagna should have gone i think. but there is probably someone who i am overlooking.
 
Sagna is injured thats why he isn't going, he would have done otherwise.

Abidal?? :lol: Clichy is superior IMO. He had a great season for us.

Anyway with them not going thats our 2 first choice fullbacks fresh and ready for next season! :)

Funny that cos he said his move wasn't motivated by money!! Players like him must think us fans are stupid if they think we will believe that. Its not like he is going to be first choice, whereas staying with us he would have been. He's an idiot IMO.

I don't think so.

Say what you say, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona etc are still the most glamorous clubs in the world. Flamini would always be dreaming to play for them. He'll look at it the long term. AC Milan are still the most successful side in the Champions League over the last 7-8 years. They will surely be back in it next season, and as firm favorites. He's part of the Milan side, that is now rebuilding for the future. He's 24, and will cement his place in the side, as Gattusso is now 30+.

He'll be pretty happy sitting in Milan, seeing the most beautiful women in the world, while his bank balance gets updated after few minutes. It's a great choice for him. If I was a footballer, and I had to choose between Arsenal and AC Milan, I know I would choose the Italian side every day of the year.

Well you could argue we are building something better! Everything you say about AC Milan is speculative. My point is that he tried to cover up the fact that he left for non-financial reasons which is utter shite. His decision was based on pure greed and had nothing to do football whatsoever.

He will join the ranks of all the other players who have regretted leaving us.
 
oh come on guys, let's be reasonable. we're talking about professionals. theese guys don't play football just for fun, they do it for money, a lot of money.

theese guys have just 10, 15, 20 years to earn as much money as they can. once their carreer will be over, they won't have a professional path as we all will have, because when they were 20 years old, they weren't studying at the university, they were plyaing football. when flamini will retire it will be too late for him to start a new professional path (as a lawyer or a doctor or an engineer or whatever). so now it's their time, now they have to take any chance they get to raise more money.
and there's nothing bad, nothing to be ashamed by, coz we all would do exactly the same thing, if we were professional football players.

saying flamini is greedy or not loyal is childish and shortsighted, coz he has never been an arsenal fan, he wasn't born in london, he just was an arsenal player for a couple of years. he's not a fan (like u guys) he's a professional.

if there's someone to blame for flamini's departure that man is probably wenger. he should have offered him a contract last season, to avoid this situation. when a player reaches his last year of contract and his club didn't call him for a renewal, it's pretty normal for him to look around himself, to see what's the wisest move to do.
definitely wenger didn't show a great trust in flamini's abilities, by considering him as diaby's backup (last season) or by using him as a jolly on the side (wasting his tactical vision in a role wich is not his proper role). this was probably a factor in flamini's choice. another factor was noticing that wenger proposed him a renewal just when milan started knocking at his door.

and the fact that milan just faced his worst season in the last 10 years was probably the winning argument, coz now galliani will be forced to massively invest to create a new legacy, to start a new winning period (wich is what he didn't in the last 3 years). flamini probably felt galliani considered him as an important part of a new project and decided to accept the offer.

all this stuff about footballers only earning for a set amount of years is silly.

an average player in the premiership probably gets twice as much a WEEK as a the average Londoner does a YEAR. If he played for a couple of years and invested his money - he would have enough to live on for the rest of his life - easily.


But I do agree with you - He doesn't owe us anything and If I wasn't from London and Supported Arsenal I would want to live in Italy.

Its something Arsenal have to face - Until we start winning Champions leagues and even our domestic trophies on a Regular basis - we will always be a stepping stone club where players make their name and move on.

Its extremely frustrating and I hope it will change soon.

But I do think Flamini would have got alot more staying with us than going to Milan - If it was just made on a purely football decision.

I Hope he does regret his move :DD

to live on.... as a normal person? yeah definitely.
but to live on as a footballer? i don't think so.

theese guys have quite an expensive life-style. flamini's car annual insurance fee probably costs as much as your car target price..
neither u can pretend theese guys to have a penny-wise life style. they're young and rich.... and once u get used to this kind of lifestyle, it gets hard to become a reasonable penny-wise adult (when your carreer is over).

it's not easy to sell your ferrari and your 500 squared meters villa, just coz u can't count anymore on millions of annual incomes.

afterall, if u were a football player, playing for a team wich is not your hometown team (not the team u used to support when u were a child) and if galliani would tell u "come in milan and i will give u a wage 3 times bigger than the wage u get at your current club", would u say "no, coz i think my current team has a bright future"...???
of course no (and u fairly admitted it in your post).
besides milan is not exactly a bad team (many people would consider an "arsenal to milan move" as a step foward, talking about purely football decisions)... and como's lake shores is one of the most beautiful places in the world to live in.

so why blaming flamini for doing what any of us would have done? :));))

Milan is also a lot closer than home for him than London is. UEFA cup is the only cup Milan has never won, and we are the team with the most trophies in the world, and you should note that Flamini signed before we got into the UEFA cup, which meant he could have waited to see what happened. Its like how Reyes dreamed of going to Madrid.

Reyes went and was a flop.

Flamini will flop im Milan just wait, he has got that contract on the back of 6 months of great form. He is nowhere near the level that Gattuso used to be at.
 
Why are you all so negative???? He's done a lot for Arsenal in the last 4 years. I think he'll be a success. I'm quite sure he will be starting ALONGSIDE Gattuso, with Ambrosini being put on the bench. Beboq, Vieira left Arsenal to Juve/Inter and is now becoming so influential, I think at the same levels Vieira reached at his peak with Arsenal. I'm not saying Flamini's move was the right thing to do, but come on he's done his role!!!! Stop being so bitter!!!!

Oh yeah, Anelka left at a young age and did great things ;)
