Not pissed he's moved. Didn't contribute too much for an attacking midfielder for my liking. Still hate him for the foul that led to PSV's goal in the Champ League.

Gilberto, Hleb, Lehmann and Flamini, all gone. Only Flamini had a good season, but all of them were good. Anyways time to move on with 2 new signings. Still hoping for a DMF to join us...
 
I've come to realise that a lot of my fellow Arsenal fans are utter TWATS, no respect for the team or its culture, we are so blessed but yet so many complain; when i look around forums and blogs all I see is people moaning, expecting Wenger to pull off some major transfer coup, demanding this and that type of player like they are DVD's and can be ordered off of Netflix; it's sickening. Adebayor is getting no appreciation despite the fact he banged in 30 goals last season, maybe he is being over the top about the money thing and maybe he can't hit the wide side of a barn I'd agree but when all is done and dusted it was THIRTY goals. People are squealing "bring back Henry" which in my mind is a very bad idea in terms of cohesion in the dressing room and egos on the team. I love Henry but he had his time and i think he would cause the current team more harm than good if he was to come back at this stage. I think a good young center back is needed at Arsenal for sure, Micah Richards would be perfect, someone with experience, strength, homegrown and with a bright future ahead of him.
 
no one wants Henry back that chapter is closed the #14 is already replace so who ever said that is a probably a spurs , Arsenal blogs are full of them! I understand the frustration though we all want honours!!:))

The Adebayor thing Has pissed me off!! We gave him a pay rise at the End of the season before. Last season he banged in 30 odd goals like he is supposed to do - especially after getting a pay rise.

Then him and his Agent come out with a load of shit to bump up his price and try and get a pay rise getting close to £120,000 a week!!!! He knows nobody at Arsenal gets that money - he has one good season and wants to break our wage structure?! - WHAT A FUCKING ARSE!!!!

Its disrespectful to the fans of Arsenal to do shit like this. We now know the thing that motivates Adebayor is money and that makes us fans not trust him.

How can we honour somebody and support him when his heart is not with us? If we know that when somebody puts in an offer he will be gone at the drop of a hat?!

He better make up for it next season with another 30 odd goals - he owes us all that - If he wants his £120,000 pounds a week he needs to bang in 30 odd goals for the next 3 seasons and help us win things.

So I think Arsenal Fans have all the rights in the world to be pissed off with him - I know I am.

Yeah but how much of it is him and how much of it is his agent stirring shit and talking in his ear? Where have you heard Adebayor come out and say "I'm motivated by money"? Footballers aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer and when you have an agent buzzing in your ear "oh if we do this and that we can get you more money" of course they are gong to let the agent do what he deems best for both of them. I don't believe anythin unless it comes from the horses mouth, as things are as far asI'm concerned, Adebayor has said nothing, he hasn't had any pay rise and he's still an Arsenal player.

Sometime not standing up is as guilty as if saying it..I appreciate what your saying I really do brotha! but the wantaway Gunner did an act in front of cameras(sky) then changed his tone to a reporter within an hour... is it agent trickery ?(Devil made me do it?) It brings me back to Reyes and the phone call from RM puffoons...whatever the case may be I can forgive surely ,but is he going to have animosity toward the team or worst the gaffe

No one is that stupid - He is a grown man.

I really do think the agents put the seed in - But Adebayor has a mind of his own. He employs the agent, he knows what is right and wrong.

All this footballers aren't the smartest things etc is rubbish - they are not little children.

The bottom line is Adebayor tried to take the piss - Whether his agent got the ball rolling or not. Its disrespectful for the fans.

He says one thing one day and then a few hours later basically retracts what he said before - Its dishonesty whatever way you look at it. He is insulting the fans intelligence by saying otherwise.

If he ends up staying - then he should be embarrased by his behaviour.

A player is never going to say 'I'm motivated by money' but actions speak louder than words and Adebayors actions stick of Shit and he should be ashamed.

anyone saw the game at barnett it was interesting most of the 1st team players arrive Monday ,but it looked a bit rusty I would think a GK is in order. It was good to see them play, where you get to see how far they`ve come.2nd goal is pretty much our signature goal,curve into the bottom corner.1st was a cracker from a hard angle
 
AC Milan would be shitting in their pants if they sell Kaka and buy Adebayor. Kaka is the backbone of AC Milan. They should be thankful to him, that atleast they secured 5th position in Serie A last season.

"Ramsey did OK. He looked a bit tired because he works very hard, of course it's a big change for him, but he did OK," stated Wenger.

"He is in the plans like all the players today. It depends on the performances and their quality and you could see that some young players could be very close to the first team.

"We had two departures (last week) but two players came in so, number wise, we are level."

Arsenal have been linked with a number of players this summer, notably Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry and Zenit St Petersburg's Russian playmaker Andrei Arshavin.

I agree, I imagine a DM is his priority because of both Gilberto and Flamini leaving, and secondary a defender but only if he can get a deal he thinks is worth doing, not just anyone.
 
Arsenal IMO need

An experienced defensive midfielder, who's a leader and a presence in midfield. Barry would be great, or for cheap, Albelda or Frings.

A big, powerful defender with presence in the air. Who? I don't know. Albiol perhaps? Metzelder? Mertesacker? I guess all of them should be available.

A goalkeeper, though Wenger thinks Almunia is fine (!!). Gomes was available. Kameni still is.

Could also do with a bit of directness in your game, though with Vela, and hopefully Walcott, you'd have players who can run at defenders.
 
Just when you think things could'nt get worse on the defensive side.Toure it seems has contracted Malaria and could miss the start of the season.On the other hand PSG seem more than interested in Gallas.

I don't want to see Arsenal starting the season with Make shift defenders or senderos.

I wish Wenger would sign a strong Center Back with experience.a good DMF would not hurt either.I think we all don't want another NEARLY THERE season again.
