Villa are playing hard ball over Barry and you are playing hard ball over Alonso, Wenger definately wants to buy him though.

I reckon the nearer we get to the deadline things will move, we will buy Alonso and you will use that cash to get Barry.
 
The more i think of it..it seem that wenger is getting the squad he want without spending big bucks..it is so easy for managers to buy big player and lay their hopes on them(Wonder how Wenger has stayed Immune to this?).

I wish for the club's sake he join's the board position offered to him.

Watched the game vs Huddersfield last night. Some good insight into our forthcoming players.

Some good performances from Emmanuel Frimpong, Kieran Gibbs, Henri Lansbury and Nacer Barazite. However, Jay Simpson was sensational - would love to see him start playing in the league and first team.

I saw a couple of games in the FA youth cup last season at the Emirates and Kieran Gibbs and Jay Simpson were really good then aswell.
 
Im still amazed with the youngest team i have ever seen play playing like they are veterans, great come back its this year, the gunners will do it!

I remembered the Bolton-Arsenal Match, but that one was still more difficult with a 10 man team, but then Ajax is not like Bolton too. This shows that we need to strengthen our defence. This was the problem last season also and it could be this season also.
Next match is against Sevilla, last time we lost 3-1 against them over there.
 
congrats on your teams comeback against Ajax..... but scary enough you guys have to do something about your defense....

Where the hell is Rosicky he was a big part of the team back when you were going for the 1st spot. When is the kid back? He as been off for what 1 year?
 
Hope rosicky does not end like Ronaldo (fat) did, he was excellent/perfect before the knee injury and after it he was not half he used to be. Rosicky and Arsenals team better do a good job and bring the Mozard inside of him back.
 
Totally different situations mate, Ronaldo was rushed back and due to that never recovered from it.
 
Rosicky, Diaby, Nasri(probably), Song , Bischoff and Eduardo ofcourse, all are out for the beginning of the season. We seriously need someone for DMF or else Denilson is playing with Fabregas. I read that Wenger might go back for Yaya Toure. If he comes, one of Arsenal's major problems will be solved.
 
Almunia,a top keeper?

Jens Lehmann have mistake at the begining of last season,and then Almunia became Wenger's first choice！of course he's a great keeper,but not a top keeper!
i like Almu because he's a kind man!But i think Fabianski will go beyond Almunia in the future!:LOL:

We are seriously light in midfield now and I am more than a little concerned about tonight. Twente will be going for it and we could find ourselves in a bit of trouble for the return leg.
 
It is a bit worrying - Hopefully its just a goaless draw if we don't win and then we can beat them at the Emirates.
