Very unlucky, you lot played well and were the better side for majority of the game. I think you'll challenge for the title. :LOL: At Wenger and Eboue though

I was disappointed with those 2 stupid goals. Classic penalty by Roonie (he was diving even before Almunia reached him) and then I got really confused for a second or two with that header. I actually thought I missed something. xD But no diaby indeed scored an own goal. Until that point Manchester did nothing to win, but when they scored they started to employ a more attacking mentality, which was kinda weird seeing as they defended when they were losing..
Playing like this, and not having unlucky games and stupid last minute injuries, Arsenal is a real contender for the title this season. Even though Chelsea is really looking like a European threat atm.
 
One of those results in football.

We were the better team and we need to take heart from that, without Fab aswell.

I think Rooney penalty was a soft one, but as soon as the keeper touches the player it is always likely to be a pen.

Fletchers challenge was a definate pen, I don't know how they missed that?! but we scored near after anyway.

I don't know why Blaccat keeps going on about Van Persie?! from what I saw he put in lots of energy and had some great chances and was unlucky,

Diaby needs to beware of heading the ball in defence with his misshapen head!!!

We were unlucky, but thats just the way it goes.

I am looking at the positives and if we play like that everyweek, we will be fighting for the title no problems.

I just hope they don't get down about it and start playing crap. This will be the real test for them now.

Also Eboue diving is ridiculous, he should use his brain.

And the Wenger incident should never had happened and they should have left it, it was just very petty.

RVP didnt provide what with needed, thats why we couldnt kill of the game

If we had some one with Ade's ability on the bench yesterday we would have won.

Bendnter should be able to fill that role but Arsene says no, so where is Ade's replacement?

Money grabbing? I wonder why RVP's contract negotiation took a year.

Bendnter just signed a £50,000 a week contract, I wonder what RVP is on.

But a striker that bangs in 30 goals can't ask for £80,000 huh?

You need to get serious, RVP should be on the right, he has no business in the middle.

Even Diaby was more effective in middle, at least managed to dribble through the heart of manure's defence.

We lacked something on saturday and it was strong striker who could bring the ball down.

Vernealan played so lovely ball upfront but they were all wasted, which is another reason I am pissed off. Bendnter should be there taking those ball down.

Barca sold Eto'o and bought Zlatan for a reason.

You forget how van persie has been at arsenal longer then Ade so he fully deserves his pay rise for the amount of work he has put with arsenal. Ade is a lazy fucker and only had one good flukey season.

Where was he last season after he got his pay rise? i tell you where he was, he was inside the 6 yard box getting offside all the fucking time and waiting for the ball to go directly on his feet instead of trying to help the team and win the ball back or make a bit of movement in space to recieve the fucking ball.

Again, its not all about goals, RVP has worked much harder than Ade in last weeks game with united. dont you remember ade's shock performance last year againts united at old trafford in the champions league? you would of never realised he was playing AND his own fucking fault for united scoring from a set piece. instead of staying back defending where he was, he went awol and up towards the other side of the pitch whilst the ball was still in danger on the other side of the pitch!

WTF has RVP done exactly that another average striker couldn't have done?

Ade in less time at the club score one goal less than RVP has in 5+ years.

Lazy? when you spent all season chancing aimless balls from denilson, you might just be a lil tired at the end of the season.

Moral? Thats BS, players fight all the time and the only incident we know Ade was involved in was with Bendnter and they are men not women.

That wouldn't be the last Arsenal players fight either, a lot of players do not get along.

And as far as I can see whenever Ade scores the WHOLE celebrites with him.

I think you may just like Adebayor a bit too much Blaccat.

He was obviously a bad influence on the team last season, and he was absolutely awful against us where it was obvious that he'd be on his way out of the club.

Van Persie does a lot for the team, he isn't all about the goals y'know.
 
I know what Blaccat is saying though. Adebayor WAS Arsenal's best striker, it's just he was in poor form. The fans were against him, he probably didnt want to be there and this just got worse as time went on. Look at him now for City, he's adored and he's repaying that with great displays and goals.

There's no doubt he was a negative influence and Arsene was right to sell him but he is not a bad player at all and the stick he got off the Arsenal fans was a key contributer to his perfomances.

If that's the case, why is Berbatov still at Manure?

Arsenal fans are acting like we just won the treble and have the luxury of disposing of players, knowing fully well Le Boss doesn't like spending.

Sure we could do with a better lead striker but I would rather have Ade than have no body but Van Persie.

When he gets injured we are left with Eduardo

Chances of both of them getting injured - High

BTW Toure was the bad influence and Almunia hinted this after he left.

I think we need a new goali Almunia isn't doing it for me
 
i was all for the sale of Adebayor if and only if we were going to replace him. Why sale argueably our 'best' striker (though in poor form and attitude' for 25mil and not replace him for a 30 goal a year striker. We could have easily got Eto'o who Barca were keen to sale. Villa is still at Valencia. This is a joke.

To win the League you need a 30 goal a year striker end of. Look when we lost the league by 4 points 2 yrs ago, Adebayor scored thirty plus, Look at Man U and Ronaldo.

We promise much but diliver little as always. I first big hurdle flopped. But cause it's so early in the season it should not by too grave as we have 4 of our better players coming back.
 
Ade is good for city Arsene knows best. Hell he was pipping himself to Utd and chels lol they didnt want him. Anyhoot more serious news Rosicky is going to play for country this weekend. I`m happy to see him ready ,but I fear he might come back strap n strop
 
What are you guys worried about? Your attack has looked more fluent in the first few games of this season than with Adebayor. The interchanging RVP, Arshavin, Eduardo and midfield is tasty stuff. Goals won't be your problem.

I'd have to guess injuries will :(

what other games has he been awesome in last season? tell me, why keep a player thats lazy, has a bad influance to the dressing room and wants to move?

If you think scoring 30 goals makes you a great player then darrent Bent must be great too.

his a decent player but he got too big headed in the end and thought he was the next theirry henry the way he acted.

we cant have that sort of player in our team and we was right to get rid of him. maybe we should have replaced him but tbh bendter could be that replacement and we still have RVP, eduardo and vale.

Right now our team is pretty versatile and all our goals are comming from the midfield anyway and with the likes of nasri, walcott and rosisky yet to play, we have a lot of backup players. i think we are just one signed player away from having a team capable of winning the league.

But the point being made here is that if selling Ade meant you werent gonna get a replacement, why sell him at all? What did you have to lose or even lose out on if you kept him? Nothing.

As long as we get the goals it doesn't matter where they come from and how many players get them.

I prefer if Ade's goals were distributed amongst more players. Then it shows we are not reliant on one player to get goals and the confidence of the team will be skyhigh,rather than one players confidence and ego.

If the things were true that were being said, we gained alot by getting rid of him and not replacing him.

At the moment Arsene is perfectly justified in what he has done. We have had a great start to the season. We were unlucky in the Man United game, where most people would admit we at least deserved a point if not all 3.

Van persie was unlucky in the game and could have got around 3 goals at another time. Van persie is more of a team player and that means he will set up more goals aswell. Van persie has 3 assists so far this season aswell, which needs to be considered.

All this talk about Adebayor and selling him is unfounded until we see at the end of the season. If we scored the same amount of goals total without him then there is no argument.

As you can see this season, although Ade has 3 goals Van persie still has 3 assists which in my book is just as important.

Also in Van persie last season got 20 goals and 15 assists (35 goals taken part in) while adebayor in his best season got 30 goals and 5 assists (35 goals taken part in). So I think people should stop concentrating on goals and concentrate on other things Van persie does aswell.

They are both forward players but differ in their game, so it is harder to compare like for like. But lets say if Van persie Assisted teh same amount of goals that adebayor scored in his 07/08 season then I will be happy.

Mike dean was a disgrace in that game to say the least. So many bookings in a game that wasn't even heated. Another ref signed. First Riley, then Webbe, now...

Van Persie is still good for us, but i still think we should have signed another striker.

 
Is that Mike Riley who didnt give us a stonewall penalty in the FA Cup semi's against Everton and Howard Webb who sent Ronaldo off agaisnt City for nothing?
 
obviously he was being found out, having awarded numerous penalties for the last god knows how many years at Old Trafford, including a Rooney dive to end our 49 game unbeaten run. He had to play up a bit against Everton. lol.

I know other fans do it out of jealousy, but I'm so sick to death of this whole referees helping United. Out of the big 4 we've not had nearly as many penalties as other teams in the past 5 years, and I don't think it's because we don't go near the box. We barely ever have players sent off against us, we conceed penalties at home and away and we have players sent off harshly.

We're the same as every other team, except each of our 'incidents' gets scrutinised to nth degree, whereas other teams are just ignored.

Did Rooney get away with one in the 49th game? Yes. Did you lot get away with them in the 48 before that? Yes. Do Everton, Liverpool, Wigan and West Ham? Yes. Referees aren't perfect. And they're not biased. But when they screw up and United benefit, it's a conspiarcy and worht column inches in every paper in the land. When they hurt United you hear not a word.

It's kind of sad, but just typical of the whole british mentality that anytime someone overreaches their status, they need to be torn back down to mediocrity.

Goals. Maybe not as many as he's really capable of but its better than nothing. Ronaldo wasnt almost half as good as he could have been in his last year for us but he still gave us more than enough.
