Another Chamakh dive, another Arsenal penalty.![]()

Whatever!
EDIT: Did anybody see Wilshere's tackle? it sounds bad (I haven't seen it).
Another Chamakh dive, another Arsenal penalty.![]()
There looked like minimal contact, if any, surely not enough for him to flop over. What is clear is that he was already going down before Dann got near him, it even looked like Chamakh ended up diving over his foot, such was his desperation to simulate.Just saw the incident and it was a pen. Birmingham player touched him, the replays showed that. He may have made the most of it, but it was still a pen.
The birmingham player saying he didn't touch him, but from the replay it looks like he touched him? why did the birmingham player lunge forward like that? it was his mistake, he should say how stupid he was for lunging at Chamakh, rather than call chamakh a liar.
Anyway, seemed like we played well today, just suspect at the back as usual.
Wilshere was a definate red and a stupid challenge.

With Chamakh though, and his history of "going down easy", which he did on countless occasions at Bordeaux (the one against Bayern in the CL last season comes to mind), it's no surprise to see him carrying on this facet of his game in England.
Won't take refs long to catch on and he'll probably suffer like Ronaldo and others have when he'll have incidents where he's clearly fouled but his reputation will precede him and he'll get booked for "simulation".
Or he might end up above the law like Gerrard and produce a homage to the "Starfish".

Yeah Chamakh certainly made the most of it and made it look more dramatic but it was a penalty and the defender was nowhere near the ball. Very stupid challenge in his own area and he has the audacity to try to blame the striker? He gave him all the reason to.
And a DEFINITE red-card for Wilshere on that horrible tackle. No question about it! Poor Zigic who finally seems to get going in EPL could've been SERIOUSLY hurt!! If Arsenal were on the receiving end of that, Wenger would be whining forever and fans would be victimizing their team saying we always get beat up, teams are reckless with us, blah blah blah...
Good player, HORRIBLE tackle which is understandable and happens to us all in heat of game, I'm sure Wenger will have a quiet talk with him and he'll learn from it and get even better, more mature.![]()

that is funny. poor kid.
Any suggestions to where I can keep a tab on Arsenal injuries. I'm curious to see when VP, Fabregas, Walcott, and Vermaelen will return.
What a performance 7 shots and 5 goals
. Funniest bit was chamakh`s goal he was shocked to receive the ball ,then turns to the ref(surely I`m in offside territory ) , then scores. Jack Wilshire you are my sunshine, My only sunshine you make me happy when sky are grey...
Eduardo
Lovely goal !

good result . We are defending as a team too!I notice this in the CL match on Tuesday vs. Shakhtar Donetsk , Arshavin tracking back
