Brilliant WUM from Inactive Member, he told you all he would prior the game and then does it and nearly everyone bites.I don't think so mate. I think our rage is with our team's performance and how we have regressed really in a summer where our player intake was exceedingly high, yet not all that resonant. We use the frustrations of our injuries to channel that, but really, while we have it bad, the league leaders, United, are worse off. But what's the difference? When they lost Vidic and Rio, they brought in Jones and Smalling, who did as good, if not better, of a job. The real fucking kicker though? We both bid for these players only to be turned down. Why? Because they knew they would achieve more success at United. For Jones, begin a Lancashire boy, it was always going to be United if they wanted him.
Someone made a comparision of the panic buys that Graham made in his last season, and time will only tell if that was true of Wenger's buys too. Personally, of the deadline buys, I think Arteta is a good buy, Mert is not, Santos is ok, Park can be decent, and Benayoun is filler.
Rather than Benayoun, I wish we had moved forward on the deals for both Cazorla and Mata which were so advanced but scuppered when Wenger wanted to wait on the fate of Cesc and Nasri. Why? He had to know they'd go! Even if he had an emotional connection to bringing in and shaping these players, which is fully understandable, someone on the board with balls should have said something. As it is, the Qatari-funded Spaniards and Chelski came in, respectively, and got what could have been ours. And look now, Cazorla is probably going to lead Malaga to a top 6 finish (I think he's scored 4 already) and Mata has added pace and liveliness to Chelsea's game, scoring goals and making assists, while gradually getting the best out of Torres. While the Arsenal, of course, lost a living legend as good as both of them as he shows how fucking stupid the people who thought he wasn't good enough for Barca are.
BUT...good win yesterday! Results are all that matter right now. Hopefully the big performance comes on Sunday.![]()

Ogunjimi: his match yesterday is typical for him, a hard worker, but a poor finisher.
Vossen at a very poor match yesterday and De Bruyne should not have played after 7 weeks out with injury.
Genk have a young team, but the CL is just above their weight
Spurs have had Ledley King, Darren Anderton that spring to mind. Man United have had Hargreaves. Lots of teams have players out for a few months of the season and much longer and have niggling injures through it. Gerrard for Liverpool, Essien for Chelsea. (Many more I can't remember off the top of my head)
We just have happened to have a few strung together.
Rosicky had a strange problem and was sent to many specialists and they couldn't determine exactly what was wrong?
Van Persie has had injuries on different parts of his feet/legs so wasn't just a reacuring injury, he just kept getting injured.
Vermaelen was another one that had a problem that was hard to predict and treat, do you think they wouldn't have paid for him to see specialists and to see other doctors to treat him?
Wilshere has had a fracture when he was younger and has suffered from this now, he could be out for 5 months, which they seem to have tried to treat correctly? so I don't know how it is the Arsenal medical teams fault?
Diaby got his leg broken and hasn't been the same and has reacuring injuries because of this. Same happened to Eduardo.
Ramsey will probably suffer aswell because of his break.
Unfortunately when players get bad injuries it weakens them and they become more fragile. You can do your very best to treat them, but all it takes is a bad/strong challenge an awkward fall etc to trigger off another injury.
To think Arsenal are the only team that suffer from alot of injuries is wrong. Spurs have suffered from alot of injuries over the last few years, same with Man United etc
Maybe it just shows up with Arsenal more because we haven't had the stength in our sqaud to deal with the injuries.....but that is another question altogether
I also think it is the players fault aswell, I think Van Persie admitted he said he was ready a couple of times, when he knew he wasn't fully because he was frustrated at being out for so long, it seems the same with Wilshere now. Players need to take responsibility aswell and tell the truth or they will get rushed back.

Well you didn't lose badly but you still lost, into 15th now, what you lot reckon is a realistic target? I think 6th would be the most realistic.
It's still early in the season to predict finishing places, why is 6th most realistic? don't understand that.
Honestly Bobby, I think Spurs are better than Arsenal, and probably better than Liverpool as well. Tottenham have been brilliant since Adebayor and Parker additions, especially against Pool where they dominated the entire match (note that Spurs were already outplaying the Reds even before the first sent off). So imo this game doesn't represent the whole pic about Tottenham, I didn't like them today to be honest. And you lot have been great though!

That was not an handball, he took the ball with his chest...not with his hand, but i'm afraid we'll agree to disagree on that.
To be honest, i don't think the difference was that big...But another GK error caused a defeat, where a point would have been deserved.
Parker was immense for Spurs and a player that i like more and more is Song.
PS: who is that Cocquelin, where does he come from? He was quite good imo. I still think Arsenal will finish higher than Spurs...

Sagna out for 3 months with a broken fibula

... and 3 months of Jenkinson
I think Ramsey is over the injury but more to do w/ trying to do too much.
