Too Black, Too Strong

I was glad when you lot scored at the end. Marseille were absolutely shocking, devoid of any inclination to try and score a goal, they got what they deserved in the end.

What about Jenkinson handball in pk area (14') and André Santos hand control, should be the second yellow in first half...
Sick OM not dangerous, but sick Arsenal don't deserve the win.

o for fuckake give it a rest about Olympiacos and referee conspiraciesI saw the 2nd half and I think Marseille was in control, but Arsenal created 2 great chances before scoring. So, they deserved the win, just as Olympiacos deserved it in Emirates against them.
P.S. If there was a handball from Jenkinson, then this was the 2nd win Arsenal took with referee help in this group stage.

I only saw the first half so can't comment on 2nd but Marseille were by far the better team in 1st and in control and judging by that only, they deserved at least a draw and not a loss. I was shocked when I later on found out the result and heard Arsenal had nicked it in the last minute. Very bad result for OM! Big disappointment at a time where they could've used some inspiration much like their opponents! The game is played in 2 halves though and so who knows maybe Arsenal played far better in the 2nd?
And yeah there should've been a penalty early on for OM which is what Ayew was protesting (handball), instead he got a yellow card from ref which I don't mind because he was being way too dramatic and jumping up and down.

that would be nice.I know it means nothing from some guys but didn't he assure you guys that he was staying?
Is he on his final year btw? Weird how you faced this situation with a lot of top players nearing the end of their contracts lately.
what? uhh? say that again? when has adebaoyr ever bene beter thne RVP? after Henry left, RVP was pretty much our best striker. dispite his injuries, when he cam eon he performed 10x better then any other striker in our team bar Henry.Adebayor is/was a much better player, yet Arsenal let him go...
This is gonna be controversial...
I can't remember him saying he will definately stay with us? I think he has 2 years left on his contract (or just under?) so we are in no rush. He may have said he will see out his contract, but that doesn't help us when selling him as he will go for free or peanuts.
Not really that weird as players want to win things and move on, so they don't want to sign a new contract and be tied to a club they feel aren't going to win anything. It has only happened with Nasri though, from what I can remember? not really a lot?
Flamini? I didn't pay attention to him a lot at Arsenal but he was a monster in both games he played against Milan but yeah the others are Nasri,Clichy,Ade... More about money and winning than contracts runnning out.
) we are going through a better period now, hopefully we can continue it with a win against Bolton and Chelsea at the weekend.
That is a very speculative post jonney...
There are examples enough of players who don't do well with certain clubs but afterwards are fantastic...
Bergkamp and Henry come to mind...both did nothing in Italy (Inter and Juventus if i remember well)...they were not bad with Arsenal...so allow me to apply your iron logic: the fact that (you think that) Van Persie will do better at big clubs, makes him a better player than Adebayor, Bergkamp and Henry.
Can i quote you on that one? I don't think so...
