I think they've been in transition since 07 though Abou, last year was a shocker but even then they were probably slowly on the rise, their better this year and slowly progressing. It can go either way IMO very 50-50 tie.
 
I dont anything good on that milan side... I think we can dominate midfield and eventualy win the tie pretty easily unless boateng show some immaculate class ahah =p

That's a fair point. I guess I'm fed up off bigging up Milan's chances each year only for them to underwhelm. :RANT:

In 2007 we pretty much ran out of steam since we were challenging on three fronts, whereas AC had the luxury of resting their first teamers since they weren't challenging for Serie A. I think if we'd had Rio and Vidic in the backline in the home leg we might've sneaked through.

In 2005, they were by far the better team against us but then bottled it in the final against English opposition. Hmmm...
 
at this stage there is no easy oponents basicly, but Milan should not be underrated imho.. i think Arsenal have a hard oponent in this Milan side..
 
Big game today, this should give us a big indication of how we are doing this season. Playing City now might be the best or worst of times, after losing to Chelsea and geting knocked out of the Champs league.

Rubbish. Arsenal did not deserve to lose. A draw was a fair result. Ashavin is a ****ing joke. Why bring him on. He did worse then walcott. Gutted but this is not the game that killed off any title challenge. It was the earlier loses in the season that killed us. Wenger should have bloody sorted out our team during the summer. Everyone knew fabregas and nasri is going to leave.instead wenger left it too late.

We were in 12th place fighting for CL qualification for the next season, we didn't rest anyone and Kaka (hence the ballon d'or) and Seedorf played the most matches in our team. Even the 3-2 game at OT should've gone our way, but Dida ballsed it up.

We're in transition, so we're definitely not the same as the dark days (aka Leonardo), but I think Arsenal are very unpredictable when it comes to Europe, so I see it as a total 50/50.
 
Walcott and Gervihno aint doing nothing on the offensive side of the game geez...its terrible. Van persie is the only player that have that instinct or that confidence to go for goal and to score right now. We played well...true but did we play to have a finishing end? I dont think so...When its vermalean that is taking attempt on goals, there is a problem
 
3point we are getting ugly wins and having santa clause as a ref was disturbing. Song is a very good player n offers so much in defense as well as attack ,but next to Frimpong he is WORLD Class Legend! I say go for Cahil , Per is shaking he needs a season. Ramsey too need a season Rosicky n Benyaou are super subs.

What a daft idiot Allan Hutton is, i remember an horror tackle from him agaist WBA (Shane Long?).
 
With Liverpool and Chelsea drawing today, we really need to take our chances in the next 2 games over the xmas/new year period. hopefully Spurs lose or draw aswell :DD
 
oh well, we didn't take advantage of the other teams drawing :ROLL: hopefully spurs lose, but I cant see it happening.
 
We can't let Spurs beat us in the league! I'm already getting flak from my Uncle and Cousins about them being above us at the moment :((

That must be the most stupid post in this thread...so you would be satisfied if Arsenal finished 19th and Spurs 20th?

Well unless Arsenal buy a couple of good players there is a very big chance that Spurs will end before you. For the very first time in years, Spurs is also playing much better football than Arsenal. Just pray that Van Persie will not get injured, otherwise this Arsenal is not better than teams like Newcastle.

Yea because if u finish above us, most spurs fans will gloat and we wont hear the end of it for a decade just like when you first beat us in a PL game. Think u lot even sell a dvd of it all :LMAO:
