yup i build a club from ground up. booted some dead wood in the team and got slagged off by my fellow team members so i left lol.

Do you know how much it would cost for Arsenal to get one Ancelotti or one Mourinho? I don't know if the club is ready to afford that. Not to mention the war chest those managers would require! Do you think they'd be happy with the human material we have going on now?
And well, they wouldn't stay for over 4 seasons anyway. It would be very short term and wouldn't bring us stability in any way.

Having said that, I'm in no way excusing Wenger for letting the team go like this. He's stubborn ways are quite irritating, he's the only one insisting we can maintain this 4-3-3 with wingers who don't defend, and the defensive problems are still there, the lack of organisation and all that.

If Wenger doesn't raise his voice in the dressing room when needed, then he's gone too soft and should deserved a proper bollocking from the board.

But in all fairness to Wenger, I don't think another manager would do better with this limited human material we have now. The summer transfers were very harsh on us with Fabregas and Nasri going and this is perhaps the weakest Arsenal side he's had to manage to this day.

This current squad is so feeble that I almost find myself, during my prayers at night, praying for the health of RVP and Sczcsesny
As bad as things are at the moment, I can't imagine a tougher ride than having to field the likes of Chamakh and Fabianski.

Well that is ONE OF THE reasons why i wanted wenger out years ago! so that we could have gotten someone like anchelloti or AVB to take charge of a side that had the likes of fabregas and nasri in our team but no we are leaving it too late.

We had already agreed to have a system to vote on anything. You were hardly around so how could you carry on doing anything? There were 5 of us set to GM's. You set us up as them! Even after agreeing all this, you booted out GM's (more than one!). Can't remember who else it was (might have been Boggy) but def wasn't just me. So yeah, you couldn't have a proper conversation about stuff so took your ball home and started booting people from the club.

And I never said I wasn't happy about it. I said let's discuss it but that's impossible with you.

Back on topic. About Wenger, Like i said before, the longer he stays, the worse it gets and harder it is to atract a beter manager and players.

2-3 years ago i wanted wenger out and that was the perfect time to get rid. why? because back then we was still regarded as a top side challenging for titles and getting very far in the CL. we also ha da fantastic squad with the likes of fabregas, gallas, nasri, gilberto, Eboue etc etc and any manager, morinho, anchelloti, etc etc would have loved to managed that arsenal side.

Now look at our squad, fucking djurou? a sub par ramsey?, mertasaka? chamack? the list goes on. who would want to manage this average side. And what if we dont make CL football? Who in gods name would want to manage a europa team? What good world class players would wanna join us too?

Wenger has fucked up the team big time, making it worse each season by not spending the money buying good players and getting rid of at least one of our best players each season.

Why would RVP stay with us if we dont make top 4? And if he goes, then what? What world class striker would want to join us? a club not playing CL football?

See where i am getting at? We replaced nasri, fabregas and clichy with what? santos? gevinho and arteta? None of those players are as good as the players they replaced. And why did we get rid of Eboue? He was our most versatile player at arsenal. yes he made a few mistakes here and there ut his work rate and love for the club was second to none. always gave it is all, more then fucking Ashavin, Djurough and that idiot Merteska could ever dream of.

Cant you see, Wenger is making our team worse each year and the longer you back him and the longer he stays, the worse it gets. no CL football is looking VERY likely. And again i ask you wenger fans these simple questions:

A lot of managers find the challenge of going back to the top appealing... Ancelotti waited for a real 'project', so ended up at PSG, although he was close to Roma. Both are Europa level. I think you undervalue Arsenal's stature too much.

Because Oxlade Chamberlin (or whatever his name is) did not do his defensive tasks like he should have done. So after the equaliser it made sense to replace him..this turned out bad, but you can't blame Wenger for that.

Trust me, without Wenger this Arsenal team will fight for Euro League places, lots of players will leave and they will be replaced by lesser players...

To have been right we will need to get another manager in and see if he does better than Arsene, until then you are right about nothing

Fabregas said himself that he wasn't playing his best last season and found it hard to motivate himself. Again you are really underestimating how Arteta and Ramsey have played this season, along with Song they have played very well and were part of the very reason we got upto around 4th again. As a unit our midfield was very good, now with Arteta out and Ramsey needing a rest we are suffering abit and with no fullbacks and Central defenders playing out of position.

I don't think he performed ALOT better than Ramsey and Arteta anyway.

Modric is a different player and different circumstances, I don't think you can really compare the two. Our position with Fab was so much different with him being at the club so long, his relationship with Wenger. We could have made him stay, but would that have been better for us? I don't think so, we would just have a player that resented playing for us after a while.

The same will happen to Modric, if he really wants to leave and they keep not letting him, then he will not be the same player and his heart will not be in it. This season was the first indication of him wanting to go, if it keeps happening it won't end well for Spurs and they will have to cut their losses.

I pointed out that there are managers that would be willing to manage Europa league sides as all the Europa league teams have managers (Because you were saying who would want to manage us if Wenger goes now?)....I never said any were better than Wenger

Some might come in and do better who knows, but again I think the chances of that are slim and the more likely scenario is that we will do alot worse. But I don't profess to know everything

Ramsey is a great player and plays a different role to Wilshere (Although he has had to play a similar role in Wilsheres abscence), maybe he is not as good at the moment (Although I think he has the potential to be as good if not better), but in partnership with Wilshere I think they can dominate midfields for many years to come.

You are very short sighted when it comes to players I feel, their last couple of games are what makes a player, but the players you slag off, have done so much more and are much more effective than you know.

The Ox has only had a handful of games, yet you are putting him on the same lines as Song, Vermaelen etc? lets see what he is like in the long term. I really hope he can play like that all of the time, but again he is very young, it is not right for him to be relied on, the same as Walcott.

Walcott everyone is thinking he should be a world beater by now, he is still young and still learning the game.

I think Djourou is good and not shit as you make out. I don't know all of the players in the Champions league teams. But as a Central Defender he is a good player.

I still say with this team:

Sagna....Kosc....Verm......Gibbs
......Song......Arteta........
.........Wilshere............
Walcott.............Gervinho
........Van Persie...........

We can beat any team in the league and are more than a match for them, you can swap Arteta for Ramsey, Kosc with Merts or Djourou, Gibbs for Santos etc. We have Frimpong and Coq coming through well, Jenkinson, The Ox.

We need someone to swap Van Persie for when needed and also Gervinho. The person we swap for Gervinho would be good if they could play on the left and right and we have a very good team and not Average imo.

So maybe 3 players, a Striker, an Attacking Forward/Winger type and probably a replacement for Diaby (as it doesn't look like he will ever be fit). This isn't the doomsday scenario you are pointing at Jonney and therefore is why I am still behind Wenger.

It's just that you and dags (who i also like and respect) are for me the very archetypical English fans: rather pessimistic and sometimes a litle bit "blind" (Dalglish is now Liverpool's manager and IMO he's failing, yet fans like dags will never see that...). Fans like you and dags are the first to cry wolf when a player leaves your club, but also the quickest to judge players and say they should go. If after a couple of seasons they turn out to be very good players and they leave, then you are calling traitors. Why should a player be loyal to the fans if the fans are not loyal to that particular player?

And about Wenger: we will never agree. He is IMO the greatest manager ever. Although he won less than Ferguson, he really revolutionized the English game. And he did that on a rather modest budget compared to most other clubs. Arsenal followed Wenger when he said the big priority was a new stadium. Wenger had the audiacity to think long term, yet the fans think short term and want immediate success. I know millions of fans who would give an arm for a manager like Wenger or the success of Arsenal under Wenger. You know i'm a Spurs fan, and right now Spurs is doing better...but i'm jealous of what Arsenal achieved under Wenger and this with the best football in the world over a prolonged period of time (Barcelona play better football right now, but they have had very bad periods, only Arsenal always played very good football).

So let's sort this out: i am not taking pot shots at you (whatever that may be) in if it did came over like that: i'm truly sorry, but i never meant to hurt your feelings.

you called me childish mate. thats why. And about crying wolf. no mate i tell it has it is and since asking for wenger to be sacked years ago, i have bene spot on with my predictions that arsenal wont win nothing under wenger again and how we will continue to lose top players(like we did with hleb, flamimi etc and now fabregas/nasri) and make same defencive mistakes.

Wenger "use" to be a great manager. now is not. he aint that great anymore. far from it.

Not once have i slagged off any of our players who turned good like fabregasm hleb, nasri etc etc. you know me. my main issue is wenger mate.

i have countless times provided u and others a lot of reasons why wenger is not right for us that has absolutely nothing to do with £££ and more to do with Wengers tactical and manageral ability.

You only have to assest last sundays game to show u one of the flaws Wenger has as a tactical manager.

That is something I can agree on, It would be nice to try something different and maybe go back to a 442.

Maybe Chamack will be better playing with Van Persie together up front aswell? the last couple of games he seems to hold up the ball pretty well, so he could probably at least provide more for other players in a 442.

But the wingers we now have I think will find it hard having to sit deeper in midfield?

back on topic. how come Wenger never experimented with 442 in carling cup games by putting say chamack and park upfront?

Too late now to try 442 as the players will need to adjust to that. unless we progress further into the fa cup and get some lower division side then maybe worth a punt
