Arsenal Thread

Spurs have a really good team, I think we played them at the right time. They will be completely different at White Hart Lane.

WBA tomorrow Away - probably play a weakened team and possibility of a loss there.

then Swansea Away which will be very tough.

then Napoli at Home, even at home will be a very tough game.

This could be the little period to dent our spirits and bring a bit of a reality check. If we can get through these 3 games positively, then things will look better.

But not having played Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool or Man City yet, I don't think we can be too sure of ourselves at the top of the league.

But while we are here I am happy and the team are showing good signs and we still have players to come back from injury.

Thing is, spurs were and still are trying to find there feet and style of play with all these new acquisitions, next derby will for sure make for some entertaining viewing I'm sure.

You know why I said the sack Wenger bit. If they lose the next 3 games you will be calling for his head.

As for Ramsey, he has come back from a terrible injury. That can mess your head up.

And the Sturridge example, I'd just leave it to the manager. Nothing I can do about it. No matter how crap my teams players are, I'd support them. I'd never boo them. I'd always hope they'd do good for the team. I might think they aren't good enough but I hardly go around or come on here slagging them off as its pointless.

Maybe you should start praising Bendtner. I've seen have some good games in the past so why not? What have you for to lose?

And then they will end up with equal points, equal matches won, lost and drawn, equal goals scored and conceded Arsenal will win the EPL because in alphabeticall order they come before Tottenham. I'm not making this up, i have literally heard this from a Spurs podcast.

The Spurs fans are over excited about their new team and AVB, the only thing they miss is the moaning...

When push come to shove, it will once again be between Chelsea and both Manchester club (how farfetched that may seem now) and Arsenal will beat us for fourth place...

That is the difference between Arsenal and Spurs: you have been there and donethis countless times...we have done it once and then Manchester City came into the top four...

At least our players will not eat lasagna before their last match...

If Chelsea don't buy any stars in January they will definitely not challenge for the title. Mourinho doesn't have a Drogba-like striker to bail him out like the last time he was at Chelsea. They lack a goalscorer. It's ridiculous that Mourinho kicked-out Lukaku and Mata in exchange for Eto'o and Willian.
 
Bendtner can fuck off. He said himself, he'd never play for Arsenal again. But it seems he'd rather collect his paycheck and see out his contract instead of keeping his promise.

He's a player who has no commitment to Arsenal whatsoever and therefore shouldn't be playing IMO.

Plus, he's not that great at football and that's kind of a big deal.
He's way better at vandalising automobiles and showing his underpants, either utterly shit faced on a night out or as a publicity stunt.

Last night was a close call! WBA hit our crossbar in the extra time. Overall I thought they were better. They had many of the 2nd string players in their squad, and we had some reserves and youngsters I had never heard of.

In all fairness to Bendtner, for someone who didn't kick a ball in a official match in so long, he didn't do too bad. Got an assist to his name and all. But still miles off the pace, you could just tell he's not fit at all.

Good to see Vermaelen and Arteta back in the fold, even though the latter left with some kind of calf injury I think.

Next round, Chavski. Then I think we won't bring our kids and raise the bar.
 
Thought Bendtner did ok, considering his match fitness. Assist was good, and had the confidence (who would've tought that?) to take our first penalty.

Good to see the kids getting a run in. Nice that Arteta and Vermaelen also got some minutes to return to in the side.

EDIT: Just read your post Rentboy (sure you're not a Chelsea fan? :LOL:) and it seems like we agree with each other, haha.
 
Oh, I'm pretty sure I'm not a Chelski fan! That's one of the biggest certainties in my life :LOL:

That means Wenger's style. More tap ins, less long range efforts. That means also Ramsey on target and Giroud being so efficient this season.

But I wouldn't read too much into this, we probably have similar numbers in other seasons :)
