That was a clear penalty on Akpom! That goes to show they're gonna have to rob Arsenal to stop us
We laugh it off as it was only a pre-season fixture, but Flamini takes it seriously:

"I don’t know who has put him on the market,” Wenger said.
“Whether it is his agent, or somebody else I don’t know.
“We were never close to signing him.
“Jack Wilshere has come back fit and in midfield we have offensive midfielders, we have box-to-box players, we have quite a few.”
Gotta love Flamini, honestly getting him for free has to be considered one of the best transfers in the league over the last few years. Not a top quality player, but so well organised and disciplined in the role he plays - it kinda felt like his structure was what Ramsey needed to get a bit more freedom on the pitch.
I expect something like this:What's the Arsenal lineup expected to look like today? I take it no Ozil or BFG?
City likely to start with
------------Caballero
--Clichy---Boyata--Nastasic--Kolarov
---------------Fernando--------
----Navas-------Yaya--------Nasri/Silva
-----------Jovetic---Dzeko
Will be surprised if this happens, can't see a reason why Sanogo doesn't start. Giroud could be benched if he still lacks match fitness.I was told Campbell as going to play as a striker...
I expect something like this:
--------------Szczesny-----------------
--Debuchy---Chambers--Koscielny--Gibbs--
--------Arteta--------Ramsey-------------
----Sanchez-------Cazorla--------Rosicky/Ox/Wilshere
---------------Sanogo/Giroud------------

Ok!7th place for you next year

Walcott, we also had a makeshift defence. Ok!
City are average , no surprise there. Wembley has become the 2nd home. It's the home away from home 'Emirates2'
@dplane what are you on about comparing Moyes's Mutd to this Arsenal. Oh dear.. The hating is blinding yourself . A simple well done would of sussed.
Ooh to be a gooner! FACup yesterday, today the Community Shield! What will tomorrow bring!
Perhaps recognize a joke when you see one? I thought Arsenal played really well. You and Pool scare me the most based on what I've seen thus far. Ramsay thus far is showing last season was no fluke.
He is saying that they won the Charity Shield with Moyes in charge and then were shit for the rest of the season, so we have taken the curse over and we will be shit now
Obviously City had alot of players out, but so did we, our 3 world cup winnersWalcott, we also had a makeshift defence.
Man City will obviously be a different animal when Kompany, Aguero et al are back, but it was a good confidence booster winning today.
I can't wait for the new season!! It has the potential to be fantastic.
Try partnering your 4th/5th choice CB with your 7th choice CB and playing your 2nd choice LB at RB for 'makeshift'

Thought Koscielny played? My stream wasn't great. Anyway, doesn't really change my point that Arse were much closer to a full strength team than we were
