Reyes is the kind of transfer that confuses me, he came out of nowhere with the press admitting he was going to Benfica with no speculation, how that happened is beyond my beliefs.

Quique should try Nelson as a Winger, not a RB. The kid needs experience and being RB he will (he always does) lose the ball in a stupid childish dribble and let the full side opened, being a right winger he would have support in his back and a CB or the MC/MD would have to leave is position to cover the space Nelson opens when sprinting. Besides that i finally enjoyed watching Benfica play, that first half was really good in my oppinion, if Reyes was on the first team and was in the place of Urreta (great Heart btw) he should be winning 1-0 by the end of the first half, for sure, that first touch on the ball made every1: O_O!!! WWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!! lol

That first half was amazing, It has been a long long time since Benfica playing that way, i think the players will shake when Reyes is subbed in and the stadium starts screaming. Go to the Time machine Eusebio!!! xP

I still don't understand why they let Zlatan take FKs. He's awful at them and has never come close or ever scored one. How were Mourinho and Figo treated by the fans?

Figo and mourinho were applauded, they are both a symbol of pride to us, figo one of the greatest players Europe had and we had and mourinho for being an excellent manager that we are all proud of, there is no reason to hate them or boh them.
Last night we were clearly the best team in the first half, and then quique started doing experiments with the team for the second so we starting losing our grip in the possession, overall we played better and the same as Inter did and in a way that every single person on the stadium liked, if we continue to grow up this year we really will be a threat to the title.
Mourinho is so right, that Yebda guy is a really felt presence in the Midfield, lots of cuts, steals, smart faults that is one of the first eleven dudes.

He is good, he has a great speed and acceleration and a good strike. He is not very gifted technically and can' t move very well in little spaces.
He is THE MAN FOR COUNTER-ATTACKS, he was very good in Cagliari that was a typical defense & counter-attack team. That was a style of play that perfectly matched with his characteristics. infact he scored many goals in 2005-06 and 06-07 season and was bought by Inter
Inter has a kinda dominating style of play that is not idoneous for him but he did well in many circumstances last year...now maybe Mourinho doesn' t like him.

Aimar had a good game in my opinion..when he moved to the left side instead of playing as a second forward. He had the final chance for Benfica but he missed..

If thats so, its going to be either him or Cardozo/Nuno Gomes with Aimar helping, Cardozo/Nuno Gomes is/are slow paced in comparison to Suazo who is fast paced and a counter-attacking player.

I always liked Benfica...fortunately just 1 hour ago i was watching an italian tv sport channel and they said they have bought the license for portuguese liga! They make a very good highlights program with long highlights and they show a liga match every week. I think they will always choose a match of Benfica, Porto or Sporting. Tomorrow i'll watch Benfica-Porto...eheheh I' ll support your team. I Just watched the first round highlights, they did not show Martins injury...I noticed Aimar missed a good chance near the end of the match after a very good one-two. He seemed to play in advanced midfield position during the actions, not like a second striker.
About Suazo...look at his stats in WE j league 2008, they' re almost perfect. I remember he was selected as part of the honduras relay race team in Sidney 2000 summer olympics but he finally choosed to play for the soccer team instead. He need spaces to dribble so he can be a very good winger also. He doesn' t have a good close control and a high shot accuracy on his feet, he doesn' t have a great technique we can say.. but he is definetely a world class in open spaces. Anyway you will tell me if i' m right, maybe i' ll just watch him tomorrow if he plays.
