Danielz FC25 Realism Mod | True Simulation Football Mod.

It has the kill everyone enabled as hatesince said, it's a debug option that makes the AI slide tackle a lot. I still recommend the default version since often the AI doesn't keep a good defensive shape in order to perform a slide tackle but it's fun and I love to use it when playing south american leagues or the copa america DLC I made in FC 24.

I'm considering slowing it by around 5%. I still need to test more since when you slow down things the AI gets dumb.

Mate thanks a lot for your testing and videos, send me a PM and I want to offer a free month subscription to the TSF mod in case you are not subscribed yet.

BTW Guys in order to follow the evoweb rules and to thank you of your kind welcome and support I'm releasing here 5 free Supporter Subscripions coupon. This will give you access to the testers channel in my discord server. This is only for evoweb players and community and it goes to the first 5 people that redeem the link. Please if you are modder don't use the coupon just to test the mod and leave it for those who want to enjoy it and play it.

Thank you mate!

Oh bro this V5 is sooo perfect for me!

I had time to try only 2 friendly matches tonight and in short I can say that this is the first gameplay so far in which nothing bothered me and hurt my eyes. I literally saw nothing negative. Of course, I'll still be playing and I'll be happy to come back here with a detailed report, but this is really, really good!

I enjoyed responsive power shots, nice actions, and finally nice goals! Everything was so fluid and a joy to play!

You know I had a few comments for the previous version that I thought should be slightly improved, but now that's it!

And please don't change the game speed! Slow motion football is not real football, I guess everyone who actually watches live matches knows that.
There are actually perfect slower moments here where we or CPU builds attacks, and also you can feel the tension perfectly well when a chance is created and the tension of the attack starts! Any slowdown will kill that feeling, trust me.

Your gameplay is not fast at all, it's just right and should stay that way. FIFA is not FIFA at all if you try to make it slow motion football! Please don't touch it.

nooooo I tried but I was late :R1:LOL:

Sorry mate, I saw this message now. For the teamkits table I added the one I use for my realism kits mod since I was just lazy to make a custom one just for the serie A license mod that is free. My realism kits mod as a 4th kit for Lazio (a away kit variant with yellow shorts) and that's why it doesn't appear in game. But a part from that everything works correctly.

Anyway also thanks a lot for your testing and send me a PM for a free month subscription to my TSF mod. :))
Don't worry man, I'm experienced enough to fiddle with a couple of things and I fixed the teamkits table myself. Been using FET (to export from and re-import the table into a clean DB) and some Excel wizardry (basically a massive use of the 'hlookup' function) to populate the original teamkits table with data from your table for the four Italian teams you licensed.
Apparently it works fine, so I'm not planning on touching it anymore anytime soon.

This being said: I've played some other matches with your free gameplay mod (back and forth between the "standard" and the "aggressive" versions) and the more I play the more think it's worth playing. I had some very good matches with some great moments.
There are some things (like the AI actually using different approaches to score like shooting from outside) that I like really much.

I actually enjoyed these two goals I conceded, for example:

Of the first, I liked the keeper's reaction in terms of "well, I know I'm screwed but I'll still try to save it because you'll never know" after the ball hit the post and the attacker found himself in front of the open net. Of the second, I liked the way the AI recovered the ball with some pressing (my fault, I've been stupid) and the randomness of the deflection that brought to the goal. I alo liked the way the goalkeeper tried to cover the goalmouth, despite being unlucky on the deflection.

A couple of things that you can improve on, if you mind:
- Balance between the two versions in terms of AI aggression: in the "aggressive" version the AI tackles a lot and gives away lots of fouls, and I like it... But sometimes I feel it's a bit too much (maybe I just need to lower the "tackle aggression" slider a bit). In the "normal" version I played some matches in which the AI didn't foul me a single time. Still preferring the "aggressive" version for this reason. Melius abundare quam deficere they said and it applies also to fouls and cards.
- Ball physics: when rolling on the ground, the ball doesn't seem to have enough friction (it rolls a bt further than I'd expect it to)
- Shot power (as also suggested by @Marconis): at times shots seem a bit too powerful (but it's a thing a friend of mine complains also about the unmodded game, so I don't think this behaviour is 100% due to the mod). Sometimes it feels like the ball "gains" power mid-flight instead of losing ot.
Just a little less power should sort the issue I guess.

Sorry for the long post, I hope it's useful.

About Patreon and the free month subscripion to the TSF mod... Honestly I don't even have an account over there.
I'll check and see how it works, then drop you a PM eventually.

Thank you!

I also agree with your feedback fully

excellent gameplay mod (I'm trying others because vanilla sucks) I must say that I'm having a lot of fun even if the defenses are a sieve, maybe I have to tinker with the sliders, the CPU is aggressive at times even too much, the only negative note is the steps are executed too slow, but great work, keep it up

with Chelsea I dropped to expert level by strengthening the CPU a bit otherwise they would score goals

Good morning.
After playing some more matches, I can only agree with you - slowing it by 5% would not hurt at all. It's a bit too fast.

EDIT: after starting the game again, the game speed went back to fully normal and waaay more realistic. So I don't know what to think anymore. It's perfect now once again.

One more thing - my reccomendation is to set CPU AI to Dynamic - that way I feel much more variaty between each CPU team and also (very important) I feel much more difference between strong and weak teams.
On recommended settings by Daniel, a lot of teams were playing the same, and there was barely a difference between strong and weak ones. I assure you that you will enjoy this great mod so much more.

Hi Daniel!

No rush, but I'm really curious when we can expect the new V6 gameplay?
I'm eagerly awaiting it :)

Also, I'm curious if other users think the curve the ball takes during free kicks and corners might be a bit too big?
I think it should be reduced just a little bit.

The curve is definetly too much. I've tried today TU6.1 without any mods and in the vanilla gameplay it's more realistic to be honest.

Is there any release date for the updated gameplay mod for TU6.1?

Now we have v1.0 of gameplay (paid version). He didn't name it "beta" anymore, so now it's v1.0.

The good thing is that I didn't see any huge changes - which means, that the GP enters the more stable phase, and that there are smaller tweaks to the previous V5beta, which was already very nice.

It's too early to give some review about new version. Only thing I can say for now is that it has less chaotic situations - there were not too many of them in V5beta, but now it's even better.

Can't wait to play more.

Thanks for your feedback mate, I used your feedback to change the air physics behaviour since you said the the ball gains power mid-flight I increased slightly the air resistance in TSF V1, this should make the ball lose part of his energy mid-flight. :)

Thank you for your nice feedback mate, I made a poll on discord and users voted that the speed is perfect so I didn't change it in TSF V1. :)

I have still to decide if tactical is better than dynamic. Sometimes I notice no differences.

Your crosses are the best

Thank you. I appreciate it.

I think it should be reduced just a little bit.
For now I released the new version as a V1 since everyone was agreeing the mod was good and balanced. After reading all the feedbacks the things that have been changed are:
- improved the air physics to adapt better to the revised ball physics.
- improved the defensive shape (teams that have "deep" line option will still defend deep, maybe this is something that might be changed?)
- reworked the player roles adapting the new EA TU6.1 changes/fixes.
- increased the decisive runs by the AI when having scoring opportunities.
- gently increased AI defensive aggressiveness.

i see all mods for tu 6 works am i right? Except gameplay
Yes all the mods are now updated the the latest TU#6.1. I also added a new teamkits.txt table just to use it with the Serie A license mod.

@Danielz in the latest free 5.1 version do you have decreased the game speed a little bit?
No, after the poll I made the community agreed the speed was good so I left it untouched.

The curve is definetly too much. I've tried today TU6.1 without any mods and in the vanilla gameplay it's more realistic to be honest.

Already released. Looking forward to your feedback :)

I'm looking forward to your feedback mate. Take your time and sorry for the late replies. Been pretty busy updating the mods recently but I read all the messages you sent on the discord server and used them to improve the mod. Your feedbacks are really helpful and what I need!

So quick recap.

The Realism Mod v9 has been released and all the mods have been updated to Title Update 6.1. Check the changelog in discord to see what has been added. I have a full realism kits mod that might need your help for suggestions and what to add (alternative kits especially), so feel free to write a message in the kit-suggestions discord channel.

The TSF Beta 5.1 is now released for Free to everyone. I hoep you enjoy it.
Thanks a lot for your love and support.
Danielz.

I enjoy playing TSF 1.0 on Dynamic CPU AI, world class difficulty. So far a very positive experience. (Tactical CPU AI has less variation in the game, it's kind of monotonous.)

Since last time I said that the referees do not punish some of the stronger fouls enough, I tried setting them on Strict, and so far I can say that this is the best experience so far. Time will tell, but I am quite satisfied with the first 5-6 matches.

As for goalkeepers and referees, I know that is the most difficult thing to balance. Now it is important that everything that is done, is done in small steps.
I have a couple of suggestions that might help with that.

Goalkeepers are pretty ok in this gameplay. Achieving perfection is too difficult, but this is a good starting point.

I would try the following:
1. I would reduce the maximum shot strength by 5%(maybe even up to 10%, it has to be tested). They are a bit too strong, sometimes I can barely see the ball how fast it is. Another argument in favor of this is the fact that sometimes the goalkeeper defends such shots and the animation that occurs on that occasion is also unnaturally fast. So definitely try with 5% to start with. After that, we will see how the goalkeepers would behave for further adjustments.

2. What I also notice is that most of the commands are done at the slight touch of a button. Gameplay is faster and that's ok, but as a suggestion how it could be calmed down a bit I suggest you to reduce the speed that the Power bar is charged by 3-5%. That way, we won't touch the speed, but the pace will be slightly better.

3. I repeat this, but I would also reduce the curve the ball takes on free kicks and corners by 3%. It doesn't have to be more than that, but let it be at least that much.

As much as you want, I will be happy to test these changes, which I believe do not take much time to implement. You can contact me in DM here, or on Discord.

Kind regards,
F4L

Sorry but the5.1 gives me problems sometimes my player makes unsolicited passes and yet shoots, of course always wrong

I just tested version 5.1 in a career match on the Fifer Alpha Realism Mod 9.0 and I really enjoyed this gameplay which has rekindled my interest in the game. I also tried it in Full Manual mode. What sliders do you recommend? By the way, I had a crash at halftime, so I think it's not necessarily compatible with this Mod.

@Danielz
for me its absolutely the best gameplay ( i tried 3 other GP for many hours)
in terms of defence, ai movement, creating actions, tempo, overall feeleng

Thank you mate, your feedback is always welcomed and I appreciate a lot the time you take to record videos!! I wish you a merry christmas! ❤️

I don't think the crash is due to the gameplay mod, since so far it's been really stable and not causing crashes for long time. Fifer mod is a huge mod though so it's hard to tell what is causing the crash exactly.
Anyway I thank you for your words and I'm happy the TSF mod refueled the passion for the game you had. :)

Guys sorry for the long period in which I didn't post I was working on a new Anthem Jackets mod to include into my Realism Mod. I've been working for the last 17 days almost 8 hours a day and today the mod is ready. I've covered all the major leagues (Serie A, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Liga Betclic) and some top clubs of other league with a total of more 200 anthem jackets. I've also included many variations, which means that if you select a different kit the jacket will change accordingly. Here's some previews.

After Christmas I will continue improving the TSF mod, adding more face, kits and boots and then on my task list there is adding a new career mod for realistic trasnfers, player values, wages etc...

Thanks a lot for your support and I wish you all a Merry Joyful Christmas from the bottom of my heart. Stay safe and cozy and spend the most precious time with your beloved ones.
