I just bought Football Manager 22 and wow, if PES had half the features that are in this game, I think it would do exceptionally well.
Why can't they add these simulation style management concepts in to these games to give them more depth? Even the NBA 2k franchise, which has it's own issues with gameplay repetitiveness, offers an indepth GM mode.
Efootball could have made a bold attempt to incorporate FM features into their game, but as always with these "AAA" companies that worth billions, they take the lazy route in developing these games and tell the fans "the final result was better than what we had anticipated". 🤡
The modders for PES spend their free time adding gigabytes of enjoyable content to keep players interested, but Konami can't even get the basics right. Even WWE 2k after a year off can deliver an playable game whereas Konami had 2+ years and released a game missing a shitload of gameplay features.
And still no official word on V.1.0.
