Just because they've posted in this thread about eFootball doesn't mean that they necessarily have to like the game to post about it. And they didn't even mention eFootball once in the comment which you replied to.

And even if they did like eFootball, that shouldn't make you say something like "you clearly don't know what you're talking about". That's just disrespectful.

I explained that it wasn't meant to be disrespectful, that sentence wasn't meant to be personal, as I said, it was purely technical, about those who get involved in gameplay modify and those who don't... So you're being intellectually dishonest if you bring up issues that don't concern you turning them this way too to defend the fact that you like eFootball so much and no one can have a different opinion

They've clearly stated too that they've tried many different gameplay mods. So the testimonies of people who like your gp mods (who I'm a fan of, by the way) don't mean much, they've already come to the conclusion that PES 21 is not for them.

The comments I posted were made by some users who do not like PES 2021 in its original version... I posted them simply to answer about the statement that “those who love mods surely also love the original version and vice versa”; therefore, I made some points that were not always true, as in the case of some of my mods...

Play whatever you like, play efootball offline if it's better (for you) to FL2026 with a good GP mod and its ML with real updated squads; but please don't confuse and mix up the issues to further your own opinions... You and someone else here do it often, and it's not a nice way to discuss things...

Coming back to my initial argument I keep saying that FL2026 with a good GP mod is better than an offline game with eFootball (if I want to play offline)... but you can play eFootball whenever you want to play offline.

If I say something like that, would it not be offensive? Just because you preceded something disrespectful with "you clearly don't know what you're talking about" doesn't make it any less disrespectful.

Nobody here has any kind of "agenda", not you nor me. All of us here are just people who like football video games. There really isn't anything more to it.

You know what's not a nice way to discuss things? Telling someone that they don't know anything what they're talking about. This isn't some clear cut discussion with an objectively right way of viewing things. It's a video game, some people like it and some people don't. You can't use the excuse of it being a technical matter since it clearly isn't, it's about liking or disliking a video game ffs.

And being disrespectful to someone because they don't like your favourite video game isn't very intellectually honest either.
