I tell you what happens in these situations.
Someone doesn’t listen to what is said, perhaps has a starting position where they either do not like a given country to begin with and are just waiting to tee off or they hear comments from someone who they don’t like and so they try and all get involved in a big TAG TEAM match of insults.
So lets analysis the rubbish/appalling logic and let’s see what I am being criticized for and provide answers (some of it is so chronically bad it is unreal).
This is being a silly. We ALL know that Chelsea and Man Utd have both won the league and have done so thanks not only to the foreign players but also thanks to a core of English players that have been massive factors in winning the league title.
If anyone is seriously claiming this is not the case then they have no understanding of football whatsoever and we can end the conversation right there.
Why have I made this point?
Because Nick pointed to the fact that Arsenal are top of the league and they have very few English players, he raised this point as though to point to the lack of quality English players in the English league. But this point does not stand up if one is using the English league as the basis for making this point as both the aforementioned sides that have won the league have had lots of key English players that were key.
The point made is redundant…..let’s move on to the next point.

We are not talking about England being in a position where we were chasing Russia and hoping on other results. If this were so I would agree with you. The bottom line is, we were in the driving seat and favourites ahead of Russia until that decision- that is the KEY. So whilst I understand the reasoning in your argument I refute it and deny its legitimacy based upon the context of the situation.

I see it as Karma, at Wembley the score was 1-0 and Russia scored a perfectly good goal, should have made it 1-1 then their confidence would have gotten so much higher and who knows what the final score would have been, but tonight it evened itself out, Rooney fouled a player outside the box and the ref gave the pen, and Russia went on to finish the job.
So maybe when they look back at this campaign, the 0-0 draw against Macedonia, the draw in Israel when they were truely awful will come into question rather than a case of What Goes Around Comes Around.

If I have made an error in terms of thinking that all the subsequent comments were directed at me then it is just that an error.
But irrespective the nature of the comments are taking the piss anti English sentiment aren’t they really, I mean that is what you are trading in whether it was directed at me or not and frankly that stinks.
If you go back and read the order of things I think you could easily see how I could be forgiven for feeling the comments were made in my direction coming when they did, so any error on my part does not make me on drugs or insane any other such shit.
And like I say what your trading in is pretty nasty stuff in any regard.

The fact is VERY often when England play a match there are horrible illegitimate anti English sentiments that are almost always forthcoming from non English fans in your position.

So back to tonight, yes Russia won a dodgy penalty, Pavlyuchenko still had to score it, they then had to score again, and even when they did England still had 18 mins to score an equaliser.
I see it as Karma, at Wembley the score was 1-0 and Russia scored a perfectly good goal, should have made it 1-1 then their confidence would have gotten so much higher and who knows what the final score would have been, but tonight it evened itself out, Rooney fouled a player outside the box and the ref gave the pen, and Russia went on to finish the job.
So maybe when they look back at this campaign, the 0-0 draw against Macedonia, the draw in Israel when they were truely awful will come into question rather than a case of What Goes Around Comes Around.

Basically it's between Netherlands, Portugal & Germany for the 4th seed spot based on qualifiying for WC06 and this current qualifying. All those teams currently sit 2nd in their respective groups, but before last night the germans were top and would of stayed top had they beaten the Czechs.

How many other national teams are openly mocked if they lose be a few but significant minority every time they lose in the way England are?
