I'm waiting for the retail version, but that game is weird to control in every area due to input lag and to defend too.
I don't feel what i'm doing and the game seems more "visual" than sensitive, player's doing many automatic animations and sometimes feels like an interractive game. The "holding ball" and defensive awareness is what worried me the most against human...
It's more than a feature, essential to master that move and use it in many situation, as well as like acceleration button. That's the way Fifa 17 is conceived to be played i think. Don't know if i'm like it or not... Needs time to digest that and adapt.
BTW Fifa 17 is very good to watch playing, i really like environement and no more plastic lookalike with players and everything, smooth as hell on PS4. Some bugs collision too but it's a demo.
I've lost at my first try, but today wins 4 times a row against CPU on "Pro" (4-0, 4-0) and 2 on champion (3-1, 2-1) with pratically long shoots everytime. Need put the difficulty on legendary.
But the AI in Fifa as always annoyed me, tactical side is not their + as well as your teamates.
When there's an interception in the midfield it doesn't sound like that's because the tactical position on the midfield is upper good, but the miss is pratically always due to a bad position of the pass-receiver, or simply a bad timing pass.
So conclusion of the demo: it's no more than a demo a bit buggy.
With some adjustement on day one patch (input lag, def awareness and contact) it can really be a nice game.
Don't really know it the input lag is the only reason that the game doesn't (globally, not only dribble) feels natural to play.
Edit: i agree with
@Chris Davies about some pro and cons especially in that post (not the first one saying it's the same as Fifa 16)

But i don't feel AI so smart, like i've said below
