FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

No. That was the real life budy.
I know a old man here in my country and tell on a TV, it was consume injections and drugs to play fast and better on each game. Now is getting problems with is heath...

And for the germany players, if they have so much days to training, why they not play today like Lions?
It seems legit....

Read this too: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/athletics/22269445

The onlyone getting injections in this WC is C. Ronaldo in order to be able to play with his injuries.

Ghana should've never lost against that crappy US team (yes I mean it)...

Yes, we played poorly, but consider the following:

  • Altidore injured, substituted 20th minute
  • Besler injured, substituted at halftime
  • Bradley -- our best player -- played maybe his worst ever match in a national team jersey
  • Dempsey broken nose, coughing up blood and could only breath through his mouth for the majority of the match
  • We were put under immense pressure due to scoring so early in the match (6th fastest goal in WC history). Ghana had to press high and go for an equalizer.
All of those factors had an immense effect on how we were able to play against Ghana. I would hope that everything being equal, we would have been able to put in a more aesthetically pleasing performance for the neutrals. In lieu of that not coming to pass, I'll gladly take the three points.

Great save by Eneyama, but Dzeko should strike the ball better. Open on the penalty box, a striker should've done a better job. He miss to many chances through the game.

Ghana should've never lost against that crappy US team (yes I mean it), who knows what could've happend in that game if Ghana didn't concede the goal too early in that match.
This team is the one of the best teams Africa have ever had(yet they have a really bad defence), hope they can pull a win against Portugal, it's going to be tough but they can make it.
Andre Ayew once again had a really good game, he definitely need to consider a move to a better club, OM isn't that good for him anymore.
p.s: I've also predicted a draw in the predicts thread. I've even predicted Ghana would make it to the semi final, well that's a little bit crazy I know...

Ghana vs USA they were clueless and just ran like headless chicken on the wings. Today vs Germany they played w/ more control and were better. Ivory Coast is a joy to watch and they`re the best team imo.

The offside I can understand but I can't believe the Bosnians protested the Odemwingie goal! Emmanuel Emenike in NO WAY fouled Spahic. He's simply faster AND stronger. You can't punish him for that. If that is a foul then we have a million fouls in every game!

Spahic being old, weak and slow, went out of the way FAR too easily and not for the only time in this game. He HAS TO be stronger than that especially as the captain.

Great goal from Messi, Argentina very lucky. Should have conceded a pen and possible red card, but refs aren't giving those at this WC unless you're Brazil ;)

I don't understand 'added time' anymore. Ref says it'll be 4 minutes. Agentina score, celebrate, then make the longest substitution in the history of man, with Di Maria walking the length of the pitch, pausing to pick upa water bottle and so forth, and only 20 extra seconds added.

If that's how 'added time' is going to work, we should get rid of it. Di Maria's substitution quite literally took twice as long as the additional time the ref added at the end. Stopwatches really wouldn't kill the sport.

Very true.

There were supposed to be a MINIMUM of 4 minutes added on but the ball was in play for MAYBE 1 minute in total!

First there was the goal celebration and then the Di Maria substituion. Had Carlos Quieroz been just a little less conservative and brought on fresh legs earlier than 85th minute, Iran could well have even taken this 1-0!

Let's hope Nigeria and Argentina don't agree to have a tie prior to the match which would massively benefit both but fuck over Iran.

Emenike trips him before going forward. See the replay again you will see contact on the right leg of Spahic. It's not easy for the ref to see, but there's contact provoked by Emenike that let to Spahic to "hit" his own leg and fall in the ground.

About Germany-Ghana.
Fantastic second half. That Atsu guy was amazing.

Jordan Ayew lost the points for Ghana. He should have passed the ball to Asamoah Gyan and it could have been 3-1. That was a decisive offensive mistake as bad as what Russia's GK did.

wow that was really really really bad call from linesman in BiH - Nigeria match. I mean, it wasn't close, it was obvious. At first I thought that linesman was in wrong position so that his angle when looking in that direction wasn't perfect, but on replays it is obvious that his positioning was correct. Mistakes happen, but this is really too big of a mistake.

As for the foul on Spahić when Nigeria scored...I was watching this match with my roommate and at first we both were "Nooo, you can't expect for referee to give you that". Than there was few replays and we still thought that it was the right call, and than last replay showed that there might have been some contact with their legs. But I am still not sure if that was foul or not.

There was some complaints about hands being used, but as far as I'm concerned Emenike did use his hands to fend off Spahic's hands which he held straight out to either side in order to make himself bigger. It's fair game to slap those hands away in my opinion as they shouldn't be there in the first place.

It's one of those situations where it would probably not be a disaster if the whistle were blown, but on the other hand it's fine that it wasn't as well.

The replays shows clearly that Spahic falls, but you could argue that Spahic heeled Emenike and fell as a result. It's not always the person that falls who is the victim.

Agree on all points but people need to Remeber USA always wins ugly it's part of our DNA

tonight i have (as many others around the world) witnessed another robbery by third world referees towards ex yugoslavia coutries.

firts, it was croatia, now it was even worse case with bosnia and herzegovina. cricket country refs denied clear goal, that could have been seen even from jesus statue monumen in rio janeiro, then arm wrestling and tripping from emenike on spahić.

but the highliht of the match was that "offside" goal refs denied :D

i hope those guys are kicked from WC like nashamura and that those kind of refs never see any major competition like world cup.

Anyone noticed this:
Klose 15th goal came against Ghana in Brazil, while Ronaldo's 15th came against Ghana too... but in Germany. That's one hell of a coincidence!

Really impressed with Belgium's transitional switching with De Bruyne and Fellaini. On paper De Bruyne is playing on front, but they switch so often that is hard to follow. But still De Bruyne lacks a bit of vision to play at number 10.

Belgium plays very fast on trasition plays. Mertens is been excellent. But their fullbacks (converted CB's ) are non existent offensively. That put the winger on check, having to do everything by themselfs. Vanden Borre isn't better than Alderweireld at RB?

Russia should explore Van Buyten. Kerzhakov should've start, He would give more pace and mobility.

Mertens has been really impressive on right , hazard very poor on left. Maybe I'm just excepting to much from Belgium but I'm not happy with their 1st half

Belgium lost their position awareness. Fellaini looks lost on the field. Maybe the should put Defour as defensive pivot and put Witsel at number 8, fir him to assume the game, and give a bit of structure.

Zzz I don't blame guy who was sleeping in tribune , this game it's so boring , maybe most boring game of this WC?

Haha was thinking same thing when they showed that. So far this game hasn't been worth my wife being mad I m watching yet another game instead of "doing stuff around the house".

Belgium just settled with a draw. Russia cannot play the possesion game. They play so slow like that. The need to be more direct, more vertical. There's in their DNA.
