he didn´t even celebrate nani goal as i remember...he wants to score the winning or decisive goals..

that´s not Real Madrid, but national team.. i think it´s hard for him to adjust to NT because his team mates are not that level as RM..

nevermind, he is not a captain material imo.. not the figure who binds the team..

he is productive as hell, but... the i think he want´s to break records for his own image than to help being better team mate.
 
Portugal plays like shit. They are a bunch of stupid players thinking for themselves, including Cristiano! USA showed that a team can be better than another one with good players being a united team... Portugal make sick! (I am Portuguese)
 
I miss the Portugal from Euro 2012, when we were an awesome team + Ronaldo. The players are pretty much the same, the attitude is completely different.

I don't even think it will be needed. Germany's current on the driving seat, they hold a huge GA differential in their favourite so imo they'll be on coasting mode come Thursday.

Anyway, hard to see Portugal getting past Ghana.
 
That cross from Ronaldo at the end was epic. A bit of ballwatcing from USA defense was needed for that goal to happen, but the cross was perfect. If Ronaldo were a bit more team player and proper captain, this team could've been quite good.
 
the most ironic thing is USA played much better than England in the matches i saw... with more spirit...

Youngsters? What youngsters. Our under 21 and under 19 are miles away to be ready. We will pass a period even worse than this. B. Alves and Meireles are done. Our CF's are to laugh at. Éder should spend the whole summer trying to learn how to receive a ball. The only bright spots are William Carvalho and Bruma. Maybe Nélson Oliveira begins to understand that talent only let you go a few miles done the road and start being a professional. He will have a period of Ronaldo dependency even bigger than it is today.

You all know i don't like him, but the guy is clearly injured. He shouldn't be playing. I feel sorry for him.

Weird reaction by Howard on the Nani goal, but later on a fantastic save (rebound), for me the save of the tournament.

And what a fantastic first goal by the USA.

Also over the moon for Dempsey. Spurs never deserved him...

In that period they had Figo and other important Stars, and this new players are just a bunch of kids, they don´t wanna to do nothing on the wc, instead of that they waste time to play in the playroom on the stadium like babies.
If this players playing like real man, that means they play only for the money, when they are in big teams.
On that job they need to play hard.
When they are in national teams, they joke all of us on this stupid World Cup.

People as been buy it a 4K TV is now very apset to wasting money.

I agree on USA, I missed live and watched catchup, all they had to do was hold onto the ball for 30 seconds! :BRMM:
 
non-sports News outlets are loving the last second goal (USAvsPOR). They keep saying parents should show them this goal whether you like the sport or not.

I see most of the US squad are thrilled they played well and think they could get a result from Germany. I on the other hand feel gutted, I wanted to join Costa Rica last night. I hope Mexico can do the business I think CONCACAF is getting a lil bit respect from the Europe elites :))

I love Maradona speaking out in defense to Costa Rica (5) players dope testing rather to the normal (2) players after each game. He was spot on by saying if you don`t have enough Sponsors they want you out of the tourney! FIFA shame on you!

portugal playing usa was one of the most entertaining matches i saw this world cup, after Nigeria vs. Bosnia...
 
Stats of the day: The Netherlands are playing for the first time after 221 consecutive matches without any "van"-players. Only "van" today is coach Louis van Gaal. :LOL:
 
Watching on my phone at work.. Hot Damn what an annoying match to watch.. Every time I look I see another Chile player rolling around. Lame.
