bullshit, not defending him , i agree with the ban he got, on international level, the fact the ban will also affect LFC is another thing, and hopefully the club will appeal on it...

in other hand, there were and are far more worse foul playes, where legs are broken and other stuff happening, and if it wasn´t Suarez who bite (not sure if any other player do it) or did foul again, the media would definetly not cover it as they do..and not call for his head...some even wanting him to be in jail and stuff...crazy.

the whole thing is to much blown out of proportions, because it´s Suarez..

so all in all you blame Liverpool fans? for what again? the fact we have to suffer without our best player again and for him not learning on his mistakes... the club yet has to make their statement..

my point is that LFC fans are those who suffer most. and that LFC should not be affected by this ban...hopefully the appeal will reduce the ban for the club.
 
Algeria! Hell yeah, happy to see the underdogs winning. Not so sure, if they're a good opponent for us. There were some matches in the past were we managed to struggle against minors.

The player did something that earned him a ban because he's clearly unfit to behave on a football pitch. Doesn't matter whether it's PL, CL or WC. If this affects LFC and its supporters that's all on Suarez's shoulders.

Like I said: I can't actually comment on the quality of their performance today since I've been watching the other game. But I'll take your word for it that they disappointed. Which would be in line with their previous performances.

I agree, but when he was banned for his club before, the ban didn´t apply on international team, when it happens in international team it applies on club? how? The club has nothing to do with that. It´s their player, the same man, but the ban is to harsh on the club who payes his sallary. He doesn´t represent the club at world cup, but his national team. If he represents them with biting, then he should be punished for THEM, not LFC. If for example someone else bite the player, would FIFA ban him from club team as well? i seriously doubt it.. Again Suarez is a psycho for doing it, but the ban is to harsh on people at the club who have no power over him in WC..and have nothing to do with him at the time he´s representing his country.

I understand that you think it's fucked up that your club suffers, any fan would. What I don't get is why you find it so hard to understand. The logic behind the ban isn't that complicated.
 
Whoa. I just check the stats of GER-USA I find out that Kyle Beckerman played after elbowed Meireles in the face in the previous game. I understand that the ref may not see the incident. But the video was there. FIFA punished Suárez, but could get a 1-match ban on him? Ridiculous.

Beckerman was lucky that the ref today did not punished tactical fouls. He did a lot of them today.
I also wonder why fifa is not investigating several incidents like that elbow hit...
