She is, indeed. The term hispanic includes the whole of Iberian peninsula though as far as I remember.

The term Hispanic DOES NOT include the whole Peninsula. It was the name that Romans gave to the peninsula (the Greeks named it Iberia), and that the Castilian, Leonese and Aragonese nobility adopted after their crowns were united and formed modern-day Spain. So today can only be used to referred to Spaniards or other Spanish-speaking nationals. Not Portugal.

Btw, she's Gibraltarian/Spanish (and hot :)), although Carneiro is a Portuguese surname (and maybe Galician too).
