Lost - Season 4 - Spoilers in Tags only please

For BSG I always close my eyes during the intro... and open them when the drumbeat ends.
I dont like previews in general, but i watch them for season previews.
 
Hey I know exactly what you mean, I'm always in constant disbelief at the amount of people who look up spoilers for Doctor Who, I mean I saw one forum full of people dying to share the finale secrets for the current season, before the season had even started! I hate being spoiled. It's such a waste, and such a showing of impatience and greed.

When it comes to LOST, I've come to know that the trailers they put on at the end of each episode are often strongly warped slices of the real deal - the next installment. It's become an obsession to stress over what the next trailers' footage actually means in the time between episodes, just as much as it's another obsession to stress about the most recent episodes' content too. 95% of the time I'm wrong in so many ways with my theories and I'm still having WTF moments every episode, stories I didn't expect to start or end, etc. The trailers are where I draw the line, it's the folk who like to know it all before broadcast that startle me.

Perfect episode. One of the 5 bests for me.
All the scenes were great and now we know the stakes for next seasons. It should be fun.

Brilliant! I really enjoyed that, the story was quick and twisted, the outcome has left yet another mourish taste in my ... eyes?

Ben's a quality character.

thought it was hilarious when the squad started shooting the village and killed the three random guys running out of the house after sawyer tried to warn them yet no harm at all done to him while running and hiding after the wooden fence and table :D

haha, yup, brilliant scene.

btw:

we both know that's not possible - can't he kill him in terms of physical harm, because he is important to ben or what is the reason?

one of the top 5 episodes, that's for sure.
 
That was one hell of a dark episode.

Real shame about Alex but I guess her story had run it;s course once she was reunited with Rousseau. Ben owns though! The confrontation at the end with Widmore was amazing.
 
I wonder why Ben can't kill whidmore and vice-versa.

Anyway class episode, and I'm getting more conviced that Lost will ge going for a few seasons still.
Getting out of the island and getting back.
 
Great. I didn't know about that.
A season back I thought season 4 would be the last, but looking as this show simply gets better everyday, that's excellent news.
 
This is one of the shows i dont download and watch when it airs in the US.

Its only a few days (well normally), later in the UK and I prefer to watch it on SkyHD.

Been sneaking a peek at those spoilers above though guys and cannot wait till Sunday!
 
Thought that was a terrific episode.

Was surprised to see Alex being done in so quickly. I do agree with earlier thoughts that Daniella is still alive. Wonder what happened on the boat too with Sayid turning Michael over. I was pretty sure the guy that shot Alex was in the room when Sayid turned him over, so obviously something has moved on.

I had a feeling Ben was going for Smokey, I think the Capt guy will still be alive though.

I have a hunch this season will finish off with them returning to the Island.............and I mean it'l be a case of "We've found the Island" and that'll be it for Season 4. Then Season 5 will be on the Island and 6 will be the battle finale's, big secrets revealed.

That's why I download and watch the US 720p episodes, no wait, great quality :)

It can't be perfect every week but it was interesting enough for me. I like the use of a maximum of characters. Most of the time bad episodes happened because there's only a 3 or 4 concerned by the story but this time it was different so it had to be good.

I thought that was another great episode personally!

I think we all knew Aaron wasn't Kate's but it was interesting to hear Sawyer decided to stay on the island.
 
Yeah. But remember s3 finale? I remember Kate saying to Jack that "he might get worried if I don't get back" or sumtin. Maybe it wasn't him but who knows.

the french chick seems to be dead but looking at how jack's dad running around, one never knows.

One couldn't expect another fantastic episode like last weeks, but I still enjoyed this one quite a bit.

I think when she said "He'll wonder where I am", she was referring to Aaron.
 
It wasn't as great as last week but an interesting filler after all. Those who have been watching the series up to now should know that it's the crap episodes that make the decent ones special ;)

Regarding the previous season cliffhanger and its relation to this episode...

at that point, Jack was showing signs of an alcoholic and a loony - and this episode seems to show why. The flashback in the end of last season happened sometime after the flashback in this episode.

Although it is still likely to be Aaron that Kate was referring to - can we discount it being Sawyer?
 
Probably but, if Ben left the island, maybe he brought Sawyer with him?

I just learned never to discount any possibility in this show. :P
