Disagree, We had Vidic missing defensively whose one of the best around.
Midfield, yeah were lacking their but that's been the case since the start of 08/09.
we deserved to lose but the worst occurred due to us simply going a man down at the time we did and then sulking/giving up.

Everyone said that last season and we still won the league.
This'll be a massive wake up call for us, we've needed it after the last few weeks. Hopefully getting players back from injury will help, certainly having Vidic back for the defence and having Cleverley/Giggs back in midfield will be good, we needed some creativity because we were controlling it in the first 25 minutes and Ando and Fletch aren't a midfield that can provide that.
Young isn't good enough, too one dimensional like Valencia but Nani isn't on form at the minute either.
We definitely need to look at going back to 4-5-1 for games like this, playing two against City's midfield isn't a great idea.
Should really have been 3-1, the last three goals we'd completely given up and they were ridiculous.

As for the game, City like have a better player in each position, except maybe two or three. Now that they are working as a team and the confidence this result gives them and Sheikh Mansour's pocket. Good luck getting one back! I really hope you do.

After all the slating about Adam and Suarez going down too easily, it seems Ashley Young goes down as if by magic too! God I hate divers. No matter which team it is but I don't see any United fans in here really slagging him off for doing it. Just makes me chuckle how all fans are so blinkered

It brings back (horrible) memories of Liverpool's 4-1 win a few years ago...
Did Rio turn up at Wembley for the NFL thing in the end? By the time I got home I couldn't be bothered to look at anything sport related... I'm hoping SAF refused to let him go.
The helicopters f**ked things up for many supporters before & after the game. One of the main car parks was shut off so that they could wait for the Glazers/Rio, so lots of us had to turn back and get to the ground a different way. No signs were put up, just loads of shitty stewards ordering people to cross the road so that they were as far away as possible. Nothing was moving, but didn't realise that being inside 50m or looking at a helicopter could break it...
And after the game, as said car park was shut, no one could get out of the official United car park.
And that's without mentioning the match! All I'll say is:
- I hope Evans never puts on a United shirt again. Balotelli had him beat, so let him go. If he scores we still have 11v11. Idiot.
- the rest of the team should be made to play Aldershot tomorrow, instead of the youngsters.

Manner of defeat might hurt..but United if something always proved that they can get things right..look at Spain league, where Levante is currently on top, having more points than Barca and Real, while those scored much more goals.. I don´t think City will destroy all teams like this.. I belive yesterday it was bad luck with injury´s for you..bad lineup, even if it´s not possible to criticise someone like your boss..
i belive you will shop for a big fish in January definetly..

It sucks to lose like that, no doubt about it, but It wasn't one of those times where it felt like we were leagues apart. Were it not for the sending off, it could of been a different game, it's also quite possible they'd of won anyway, but the sending off really limited our options and we were already 1-0 down.
As Fergie has said, at some point we should of given up on the comeback and gone into damage limitation mode, though it's not in our nature. The more experienced players should of stood up and sorted it out.

Yeah, suddenly everyone thinks City are miles better which isn't the case. City have still got Chelsea (h) and Stoke (a) which we've got through so those 5 points probably gives them a decent cushion we've played harder fixtures so far.
though we can't slip up now as 7 point lead will be difficult to chase.

It's not a new thing with Young, I remember him diving against Rapid Vienna a couple of seasons ago as well as against Montenegro at Wembley.After all the slating about Adam and Suarez going down too easily, it seems Ashley Young goes down as if by magic too! If I were a professional footballer, the last thing I'd want to do is insult my colleagues to win some brownie points with fans.
It's so interesting listening to North American athletes in US sports. They tend to view each other as parts of a big fraternity, and do loads of cross-team/ cross-rivalry discussions, charity work and so forth. There is a respect amongst fellow athletes.
When I hear one football accuse another of anything (racism, diving, etc) it just saddens me what a crap bunch of morons we decided to watch run around each week.
