Call me cynical, but sometimes I wonder in games like these if he does this on purpose to win bets.
You have stunned everybody to silence for even suggesting this....shame on you!

Speaking of him being a crazy old man, let's have a quick look at our midfields in our last 7 league defeats:
Newcastle 0-3 - Carrick/Giggs
Wigan 0-1 - Carrick/Giggs
City 0-1 - Carrick/Scholes/Giggs
Everton 0-1 - Cleverley/Scholes
Spurs 2-3 - Carrick/Scholes/Giggs
Norwich 0-1 - Carrick/Giggs
City 1-2 - Carrick/Giggs
Now admittedly I'm a statistician by profession, so for mere mortals it might be tough, but there's a pattern there. I'm not going to ruin it for anyone, it's like those magic eye images.

Well that was a crappy weekend and Monday, hopefully we can go back to grinding out those results. If we don't sign a solid, young, hopefully world-class in the making midfielder (and pretty please maybe another winger if Nani or Valencia leaves) in the summer and Mourinho returns to Chelski, I'll throw the towel in the ring before the next season even starts.
I wish we were stuck in 2006-07.
That year was wonderful to watch.

Great to see RVP finally end his dry spell even if it was a penalty, even better to see him celebrate with SAF and all the staff.

That was brilliant!
Its awkward to see that despite the hug every man across the globe saw, RvP left Sir Alex Ferguson hanging for a hi5 that's a transfer request if ever I saw one![]()

Well suckernet seem to have gone all out on this Rooney to PSG thing... whats you manc fans take on it?
Has Rooney's relationship with SAF really down the drain? Is his wages causing the owner's bellyache?
Is there any truth in the rumours or is suckernet spinning a yearn again?
The PSG stuff makes some sense, but all the sounds I hear from England say Rooney is staying, and wants a new contract to boot.
I'm a big fan of Rooney on the pitch and would be delighted if he stays and sorts his fitness out, but could see Fergie getting rid. Especially if there's any truth to these bizarre Falcao rumors.
If we buy another friggin striker instead of a midfielder I'm officially declaring Fergie senile.
I don't think Rooney will ever be a truly world class central midfielder - he's just not a specialist there. He can do a job without a doubt - he's that good - but as a club we have hte highest revenue in the world. We shouldn't be looking to convert strikers, centre backs and left wingers into central midfielders.
Also, Falcao's goals/assist per minute ratio this season is actually LOWER than Hernandez. So there's some food for thought.
Hmm, except Hernandez would probably have lower ratios if he also played every minute.. I don't know so don't take it as fact but I'd assume Falcao has played many more minutes than Herndez.
) team, so maybe united can get a decent deal.
