Imagine being able to play Pro Evolution / Winning Eleven matches and tournaments Online with friends or people across the world from the comfort of your couch, in public or anywhere you have a phone tablet or handheld gaming device(Even if its the ps2 golden era which still holds up well today). How is this not a thing in 2026 with all the advances in mods and patches over the years. Shout out to all the modders and patchers that continue to keep one of the greatest game series of all time alive even after its unfortunate demise.

Yeah I remember playing in a WE2002 online league via the ISS Extreme Forum, this was like 2005 I think. We all used PS1 emulator to play games.
Is strange how there isn't say an online league or World Cup on say FIFA 14.
I've been part of a PES online Master League, that worked well and is still going. I've seen SWOS has online leagues etc.

Nice i bet it was lots of fun. Nothing like winning eleven on the earlier playstation, lots of amazing memories with colleagues, heated moments and fractured joysticks on winning eleven 4 lol. Exactly playing with others via multiplayer is peak as only a few games have enjoyable ai it seems. Online master league sounds like quite the experience, I'll definitely have to read up more on that 👍. Who ever figures out how to make patches/mods that support online multiplayer on mobile devices will offer a fast straight to the point, can't put my phone down type excitement.

You can, just use ppsspp emulator and any pes/we from psp can be played, also most of them have online/lan functionality its not harder than just setup a vpn connect and play with anyone you want.
(I remember that up to pes2009 this was there probably its still like that on 2014)

I came across a couple videos saying you could do this when I first encountered ppsspp, presumed it was clickbait.. good to know it isn't. Any chance a similar feature available for aethersx2/nethersx2

probably only for lan games, pes/we on ps2 wasn't lan at all, and the last one to have online feature was pes2008 and sadly I tried but couldn't revive the server. you can only play pes6 and pes5, search for tutorials here in the forum or youtube, but no idea if those emulators have online features tbh as I dont really play on android

That's understandable. Thankyou for your time and dedication. Unfortunately came across alot of harmful youtube links on my quest for the best pes/we casual gaming experience. Finally this forum gives me hope as a long time bts observer. I'm open to any suggestions for original & updated season offline patches/mods iso, especially for the likes of pes 3,4,5,6 and their winning eleven counterparts as I continue my search. Thankyou once again for all you do.
