poor rehagel, probably one of the most underrated coaches in europe.
what's more funny (and sad) is that portuguese and turkish (both for obvious reasons :mrgreen

aren't the only ones who still didn't realize what a great team greece is.
actually most of the people, the so called "football experts", still underestimate greece's great achievements.
of course it takes to deeply know football to appreciate their gameplay. they have no cristiano ronaldos, no pirlos, no kakà.... no surprise if the majority of the football fans don't get exctited by their football. afterall the majority of the so called "fans" don't understand anything about the game. they just look for big individual plays, and they can't recognize some good football neither when they're watching it....
but what the hell, u don't have to understand football to realize they're a hell of a team. u just have to look at their numbers. but they don't seem very intersted in numbers..... so they always come out with the same reply to any kind of remark:
luck
- they won their group stage at euro 2004 qualifications (beating team like spain and ukraine).
luck
- they won their group stage at euro 2004 (although they had to face team like portugal, spain and russia).
luck.
- they beated the hosting team (portugal) TWICE on its own turf.
luck.... both times
- they won the tournament.
luck
- they won their group stage during euro 2008 qualifications.
luck
- they made more points than any other team (in any group) during euro 2008 qualifications.
luck
- during euro 2008 qualifications they scored more goals than many great teams, whic are well known for their attacking mentality (like portugal). it doesn't matter. they still are a defensive team which plays 11 defenders.... so once again, it was just
luck.
damn this team is the luckiest in history :lmao:
