Hi Energia. Nice work with your gameplay ports.

I assume since WE10LE is a PS2 exclusive, that you are able to locate the gameplay strings in the PS2 versions of WE/PES. Are they located in the SLPM/SLKA/SLES/SLUS file or the OVER.AFS file? And are you then able to port the gameplay between PS2 versions? The reason i'm asking is I want to port the gameplay between a couple of PS2 versions if possible. :)

Hi people, quick question about J.league winning eleven 2008 club championship.
When you start master league you have option to choose from 3 modes, ML with japanese teams, some european league (which seems you can only play division 1), and some custom league where you can put any teams you want and you can start from division 2.
My question is what are competitions inside each of this modes, besides standard league and cup.
I assume when you play japanese teams that you can eventually play AFC champions league, but what about other two modes?
And will answers that you provide be the same for J.league winning eleven 2009 club championship?

Speaking about player individuality inside the j.league dlc for we2013 as the older posts i posted here , there are some examples and I've captured some of them a couple of days ago and it blew my mind once i focused with players because most if not all the Japanese players have their own individual feeling inside the match and in this game , even the crowds when I play with or against vegalta sendai for example the crowd starts saying "AKAMINE!" he is an important forward player for the team , which adds a big layers of entertainment for this golden gem of we2013

Oshima Weird shot : I've been playing pes/we2013 for 12 years and I've never seen this individual shot in my entire life , also inside match he acts as if he's "oshima" I don't know how or why but you can feel it

The list won't end because a lot of players will feel special inside the match in a realistic way

Also the team id is huge thing in this game , each japanese team "feels" so different to play with or against

Man since I've activated the j league dlc for we2013 I'm just discovering everyday how wonderful this was

I think we9le with its original option file, not a Pes5 one inported which dumb down a.i, Is a better game than Pes5 and i would take everything apart attacking A.i over 2008. Defensive a.i is way better on we9le.
Ball physics, fouls, inertia, First touch, the inpact of player individuality and teamwork stat, to my taste is better on we9le.
I mean..pes2008 and even more we2008 are great games in my opinion, but they are more streamlined. The perfect balance between these two titles, in my opinion, Is We10le which is way better than pes6 in terms of defensive a.i and ball physics. It's my favorite title when It comes to local multiplayer.

I always hope to be able to run we8le because from what i see It could be another contender to my personal favorites.[/QUOTE]

This is something I've experienced too but I thought it was because of the widescreen patch (they seem to pop in and pop out when they cross the "imaginary 4:3 border" if it makes sense). For now I just decided I'd play the game in 4:3, but I'm giving it a couple more tests when I can.

Is there any gameplay patch or anything that changes the CPU's playstyle in PES 2012/2013 in a way that makes them play with a slower pace and methodical approach?

It's like no matter which team they play as, once they get the ball, the only thing they do is immediately launching a lightning-fast counter-attack with a lot of non-sense, straight to the goal, "Messi vs Getafe" dribbling sequences, especially in 2012. There's almost zero buildup from them. They rarely perform a backward pass, or maybe pass the ball around while trying to find and make gaps. Simply put, they are just way too direct.

The weird thing is that in the previous games from that era, the CPU had a slower, buildup-focused playstyle.
 
Hi guys. Started a default ML with WE 8 LE at 5 stars some time ago, cause for some reason in my memory it was more challenging than 6.. since on the contrary it felt a bit too easy, I unlocked the 6 stars, did some friendlies and it all seems muuch tighter as it should be, both in CPU attacking and defensive awareness.

However, unfortunately can't switch up my save to 6 stars, so I'll have to start a new one. And, related to this, I have a question: I have yet to unlock the different balls, if I'll do it in a second time (it's 3000 wens and I already cheesed almost all the important Cups to unlock ML composition and level 6), does somebody know if it will be possible to change it in an ongoing ML, or the option will still be greyed out?

- Animations
- Overall balanced dribbling, shooting, midfield play, ...
- Fun (not too many fouls)
- Even though Bundesliga is lacking, there are lots of licenced clubs
- Game speed (why I prefer it over PES 2008)

I don't know if it's the best p4p, but if I had to choose a copy among those to play for the rest of my life, for me, it would be Pes 5. No doubts. Despite the shortcomings (mainly bad attacking AI), it's probably the football game of my life. Pardon me the poetic expression, but this game more than any other old school one, I've always felt it as a canvas for me to draw football on, thanks to the heavier defenses, the many fouls that made it difficult to run around with the ball, the stats so tangible and prominent, the passing.. on the ball, to me, it's king undisputed, so good I'd pick it over the others.

(JL WE 9 AC would be a good candidate as well, since they are basically almost clones, but despite loving the JL I'm too fond of European rosters and ML. A good case could be also made for the first WE9 released on Ps2)

In terms of a one off game or to play against friends I go for JL2009CC but to play a competition/ML it has to be WE9LE.

For me as it's for ps2 I'll go with my lifelong partner jlwe2009, it's been with me since 2012 I've been playing it for a silly huge amount of hours only exhibition because I actually enjoy the details and the gameplay more than anything , and as in master league and competitions I think it'll be my main plan for another 10 years haha and in my thread (j league winning eleven games) I'm making some deep analysis with myself with which games will live long with me and this game actually comes the first place for ps2 with golden prize that will live with me for ages or for infinity , it's much simpler than 2008 , and also the other we/jl games I've just started playing them recently but for me 2009 is much beautiful game in terms of colors , feelings and soul of the game , and player graphics they were so special in this game especially japanese players they had the most imagination element added to their graphics which is a big factor of pes/we in general also it's not too complicated in gameplay like 2008(I think jlwe2008 you just must enjoy the ai and how beautiful it is and play it alone ), although I like 2010 a lot but as I said this game has a special place inside my heart and I'll go for it for eternity.
