Listening to some "Nomadi" now (an Italian band that's been running for like 60 years now, with of course several member changes, but still alive), from the Danilo Sacco (a singer which I absolutely loved) era:
They don't feature Sacco anymore as a lead singer now, but they're still a joy to see and to listen to: they did a concert this summer in my hometown with Yuri Cilloni as the lead singer, and it's been a blast.
Fun fact: they're the reason I got to know "The Revolution Kind" by Sonny Bono and "Nights in white satin" by The Moody Blues (in the late '60s and earliy '70s there was the use of covering, with Italian lyrics, songs that were famous abroad, and many artists including Gianni Morandi did it).
