Don't worry man, I'm experienced enough to fiddle with a couple of things and I fixed the teamkits table myself. Been using FET (to export from and re-import the table into a clean DB) and some Excel wizardry (basically a massive use of the 'hlookup' function) to populate the original teamkits table with data from your table for the four Italian teams you licensed.
Apparently it works fine, so I'm not planning on touching it anymore anytime soon.
This being said: I've played some other matches with your free gameplay mod (back and forth between the "standard" and the "aggressive" versions) and the more I play the more think it's worth playing. I had some very good matches with some great moments.
There are some things (like the AI actually using different approaches to score like shooting from outside) that I like really much.
I actually enjoyed these two goals I conceded, for example:
Of the first, I liked the keeper's reaction in terms of "well, I know I'm screwed but I'll still try to save it because you'll never know" after the ball hit the post and the attacker found himself in front of the open net. Of the second, I liked the way the AI recovered the ball with some pressing (my fault, I've been stupid) and the randomness of the deflection that brought to the goal. I alo liked the way the goalkeeper tried to cover the goalmouth, despite being unlucky on the deflection.
A couple of things that you can improve on, if you mind:
- Balance between the two versions in terms of AI aggression: in the "aggressive" version the AI tackles a lot and gives away lots of fouls, and I like it... But sometimes I feel it's a bit too much (maybe I just need to lower the "tackle aggression" slider a bit). In the "normal" version I played some matches in which the AI didn't foul me a single time. Still preferring the "aggressive" version for this reason.
Melius abundare quam deficere they said and it applies also to fouls and cards.
- Ball physics: when rolling on the ground, the ball doesn't seem to have enough friction (it rolls a bt further than I'd expect it to)
- Shot power (as also suggested by
@Marconis): at times shots seem a bit too powerful (but it's a thing a friend of mine complains also about the unmodded game, so I don't think this behaviour is 100% due to the mod). Sometimes it feels like the ball "gains" power mid-flight instead of losing ot.
Just a little less power should sort the issue I guess.
Sorry for the long post, I hope it's useful.
About Patreon and the free month subscripion to the TSF mod... Honestly I don't even have an account over there.
I'll check and see how it works, then drop you a PM eventually.
Thank you!
