I did all of the above. Playing FUMA last few years on both Pes and Fifa and played Vanilla V1 for ages. Also - changed player formations, stats, tactics and used whatever other voodoo ideas that I could think of..
So how come I see your posts same way as Chris does?

Ok..but that’s like saying I’m right and your wrong about pes..I like 20 better then 19 where as your the opposite..So does that make us both right.

You didn’t answer the question..What makes me a hypocrite?(that’s personal)..

I have given you an example, and you've just said "each to their own" and taken it as an attack on your right to play 2021... Plus, called me aggressive.

People get very defensive about this whenever there's a difference of opinion, but nobody's saying "don't play it" and "don't enjoy it". I even said earlier that, I hope for your enjoyment of the game, they don't patch it to death on day one. I mean that!

But. We also have the right to point out that you saying "PES 2021 is worth buying because I can see the gameplay's different" and then "FIFA 21 isn't worth buying because it's the same game every year"... A) Konami themselves are literally marketing it as identical, and B) the changes in FIFA's career mode this year alone, most of us would kill for in the Master League... With the flourish of "more power to you"... is hypocritical.

The slight tweaks you're seeing in 2021 gameplay make the game worth buying, and you fight for your right to say/think/feel that. But you think slight tweaks in FIFA plus an enhanced career mode (when PES is getting no off-pitch tweaks whatsoever), you called out with a "more power to you"... That, is hypocritical.

I'll try to leave it at that - I'm sure everyone is bored of this being raked over...

That is simply ridiculous.
If you didnt suggest that its silly to pay for Fifa upgrades and at the same time its not silly to pay for Pes - no one would say a word. Its your preferences and its your choice.
You will get Pes, Chris will get Fifa, I wont get any. Everybody's happy.

Its the way you belittle people that dont share your views or approach, not the other way around. You claim no one can see the true "magic" of Pes unless they play FUMA.
You say its ironic how people want more assistance in game DESIGNED to be played on manual. Both claims are not true.
1. Game is not designed to be played on manual, its designed for online User Vs User quick pace matches
2. Playing on FUMA does not fix the game issues.

You saying that all the issues dont bother you that much (which is fair), at the same time you cant accept that they might be gamebreaking for others. Thats hypocrisy.

You keep having little digs at people age, expectations, settings and whatnot, sitting on some imaginary high horse and when someone pull you on it - you are surprised and play a victim.

This place has 100's of people, with different preferences and we all respect each other here. Dont always agree, but respect.

And even in your last post to Chris, where it seemed like you were trying to calm the situation, you just could not stop yourself from climbing onto high horse again with your FUMA experience.

So do yourself a favour and tone down a bit. Otherwise you will end up being another one shouting on social media, that he "was victimised" by a big bad evo-web wolf.
 
Not touching this game,Pes 20 is my least played Pes game of them all (except Pes 2009).
Can't deal with its flaws if it's just a roster update from 20.
Also atmosphere/looks/in game graphics are just getting less and less realistic.

There's been tweets from the new brand manager saying there's gameplay improvements such as more responsive right stick dribbling , collisions improved and fouls . I won't hold my breath and improved fouls could mean even less depending on their intended direction but if there is an improvement I'll probably drop 25 quid on it , just wait for the day one patch reviews

If I by some miracle would be tempted ,it needs massive improvements, especially in in game graphics,like tables/best scorer etc.
Pes needs to step that up,it's almost a joke how bad it is now

Respect emroth for your post..Nail on the head interms of my manner and attitude and apologies to Chris also..Got a little passionate(especailly about FUMA)and I wouldn’t argue with your summary especially the first paragraph.

I remember some great conversions with you both last year and I always enjoy the debate however heated sometimes..

They are bulletproof tho as they can say whenever they want that "uh-uh i ask Japan, probably its in the next patch/or yes its there i can feel it"

Fifa21 is the same game like always. There's no such thing is gameplay tweaks and updated carrier mode. They only added new dribbles and stolen some PES ideas AGAIN and added some new carrier mode cut scenes. That's all. And Fifa21 price is the double of the PES21 and they still saying it's a new game unlike team PES. So yeah I'm with PES and I always will even if the gameplay isn't gonna be better in PES21 because on PC it doesn't matter anyway. Just look at PES20. The modders here made a totally new game this year from PES20.

And I'm still hoping that PES22 isn't just a new engine.

There literally is. Whether they're good, bad, or barely different, they exist. The new training system in Career Mode exists. The new 2D "jump in and out of games" feature exists. They might be shit features, but they exist. So by definition, it isn't the same. Now this isn't the FIFA thread and we've been off-topic enough today. Let's end it here.

Just watched one video. Unless it's an extremely well made fake there are no improvements at all. It looks like Pes 2020. Most importantly, same awful referees.

I wouldn't, unless the gameplay and AI improved massively.

The ML could be the deepest and most feature-rich single player mode we've ever seen in a football game, but what's the point if the gameplay is so turgid and AI so scripted/dumb that you can barely make it through 5 matches (or 5 minutes) on the pitch let alone 5+ seasons?

The realism of the transfers, player development or league tables isn't going to rescue a game where the gameplay isn't enjoyable, AI uses dumb tactics/substitutions, suicidal tactics in cup games etc...

It's never going to be as deep as FM if you used it more as simply a management game and simulated the match results. Game modes are something that should be taken care of after the gameplay is good enough to allow them to be enjoyed. I didn't stop playing 20's ML because it lacked features or the transfers/tables were unrealistic, it was because the gameplay against the AI was fucking dreadful. PS2 Master League wasn't great, it was really basic, but the quality of the gameplay and player individuality let you use your imagination to fill in the gaps to create a narrative. Without gameplay it's nothing.

Same goes for both games. Unless the gameplay is up to scratch then I couldn't care less what they do or don't do with the single player modes. I wouldn't buy Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing if they re-released it with a career mode.
 
I'm on the fence on spending £25 on the update , rumoured gameplay improvement's most likely will be unnoticeable however the updated kits of licenced teams , master league managers are interesting, but are they £25 worth of interesting? I'm still playing pes 2020 and it's as frustrating and rewarding as ever offline and online . So many gameplay flaws that need to be fixed and for an update Konami say is 99.9% the same game as last year is quite worrying . Anyone else feel the same ?
 
i really hope that the pes 2021 sales are so dramatic bad that konami overthink the politics...

dont get me wrong, i know the titled this as "season update" but the point here is not pes2021 the point is konami!

we blame €A for this politics and fail games, Fifa, madden... its absolutly not the quality to expect for the amount of money and the metacric from the fans
are absolutly right and true but €A dont give a shot so long they make the $$$ from sales or ingame did not matter!

so now to Konami, communication is bad, Community Feedback dont care, Bugfixes dont care, long time workers quit (iam in the generation who know the times with john murphy), update games modes dont care, good online experience dont care. just for me there is absolutly no advice konami get the shit together.

Fox engine eara is gone and they dont deliver a product where most players are satisfied with, looking foward for NextGen but Konami is still Konami...

i am not against pes 2021, just i think they could have fixed at least a few mistakes. and after the last 12 years i'm more than skeptical about pes2022 just because Konami is Konami.

That was pretty much my argument back to you in a roundabout/indirect way to avoid mentioning the "other game" - you seem to be justifying a FIFA 21 purchase based on game mode improvements, when the gameplay isn't up to scratch and from various comments you don't seem to like it either... It'll just be a year of trying to hunt down some magical slider/mod combination to make the gameplay barely tolerable at best. Fair enough if you enjoy it, but I couldn't get any enjoyment out of game modes if the gameplay pisses me off enough to quit within half a match. Like if Big Rigs got a fantastically deep career mode added I still wouldn't play it.

I won't mention FIFA again in here, but that was basically my point.

Hello! Will there be a good heart to help make the Polish league patch to pes 21? The most important are kits, scoreboard, stadiums, etc. The dream is to create a Polish commentary to the pesa, but it's hard bread and I probably won't find it. If someone would be willing, I would try to get money to make a Polish comment! I am asking you for help!
