We need a fix to resolve "blocked" Settings,
To set high details on video cards that can support IT!
Like my 6600pixel shared 3.0...it can, i know becouse the demo with kitserver runs as well.. :D

and also (or maybe the same thing), the vista 4gb memory bug which blanks out the settings and only alows you to play at 640 or 720 resolution with minimal detail
 
kitserver is the salvation for me, too. I attend impatient the new version compatible with final version of pes2008.
 
I can play 800x600 in med quality without any problem with kitserver in demo. But I can only play 640x480 in low quality. What the hell is Konami doing? Why don't they just give a warning and let the users themselves make the final decision?
 
Nooo it's not that..we need to stop the blocking hight details to switch IT on

has anyone heard anything on when a new kit server will be out. I have vista and 4 gigs..

got so annoyed with it tonight, pulled a 2gb stick out the pc just so i could play the game, lets hope some kind of fix is getting near as this is a crazy bug to have

6600 and full detail, I don't think so, unless you play at 800x600 , I highly doubt you can play this game at high detail. Especially at stadiums like Bernabeu where the crowd is seen at almost every second.
 
No i can..Demo was on hight details 800x600 yes pes2008 is another game .
IT works perfect with 6600gt and 1 gbyte ram i garantee.
If not, why juce sblock that possibility? :D , i will be happy with pes2008 kitserver and like me others pes players ;) that have settings with this no-sense block.(6600gt support 3.0 pixel shared infact i played very well bioshock for example!)

did you even read my post? for god's sake man, i told you "unless you play at 800*600" .

I know if you play at 800*600 then you can go high detail but I don't like low resolutiıns ;)
 
I don't believe he actually reads anything. He sure as hell can't speak English, so probably can't read it all too well either.

Angel - Try using a different resolution, at least 1024*768.
 
Thanks Man but "the problem" is:
On all resolutions the game go to medium details...i could want to sblock the blocked high details for some configurations so becouse also settings of pes2008 are a little bugged in this case...for example:

6600gt can support well 800x600 on hight details but settings are blocked on medium...for very strange konami decision..

In finally i see better pes6 than pes2008 ! lol

We want to sblock the unsupporterd/blocked others configuration..like the high details for some good video cards ;)

I say that also becouse i'm a technician computer :D i know that i write :D ...(i'm italian but write well in english i hope..or sorry for some errors! xD)
 
I have downloaded this and replaced the settings file yet nothing seems to resolve the issue. PES is running 720x480 and I cannot change the settings or load it with the patch on any other resolution. I just keep getting that warning message. Im running: - AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Pro 3800+ 2.01GHz, 2 gb of ram and two serial linked nvidia 7800 BFG gt's.

Should I cut my loses and buy a 360 in the future or should i be able to run PES at a decent spec!? Im not a pc expert so dont if my pc is of a decent spec anymore but it does manage to run hl2ep2 on full with no troubles so I dont get why pes wont run.

Can anyone help?
