Yes I know that, Milanista. I even watched some of those games. No offence, but that guy celebrating with Pippo in your avatar did most of it. With the quality of those passes even a trash can would score. If Pippo wasn't caught offside as much as he does, he could have been top scorer.
Nothing against him, it's just he's too old, it's time for Italy to let better players like Toni have a chance.

Before this turns into AC Milan thread, let's leave it all aside.
 
Guys, i was thinking about this guy said Harvard Nortdveit--hes there in our youth club, a centre-back. He says, he can save our money on buying a new centre-back. Anyone seen him in action, how does he play??

He could be better than Senderos, if he is then its really good. Hes a Norwegian, hes tall but hes not Blonde...hes kinda Brunette...:-pp

Let's hope so, good replacement men are needed there. In my opinion, Senderos was a promising player that never developed to his full potential. He never really transmitted confidence to me.
And that guy Song Billong gives me the chills, man!
 
Nasri is an offinsive midfielder. He in no way can fit in a defensive position.
Nasri, a dmf, a cb and a gk are needed IMO.
 
Oh, i guess then Nasri is a replacement for Fab. Well then, we need a winger also, as a replacement for Hleb. or maybe Nasri, himself can play for Hleb.

Senderos, to me seems to be a continental player, hes good against non-english opponents, he played well against AC Milan. Song is actually playing well. Played well against Liverpool and United. I mean, for his age hes good. That guy has loads of potential in him. Wenger knows it too.

Nasri can fill in Hleb's place very well.
Senderos is good, i like him as a player. I am against a Gallas - Toure duo. We need a tall strong center back, Gallas and Toure are not that.
Song is average.

Nice post mate, I agree with this. Toure and Gallas are too similar, if we had an old fashioned CB who could head the ball properly and really dominate the back line then I feel we would ship less goals. Is Senderos the man? Not so sure.

Senderos didn't seem to be that type of player...maybe Kompany can do that, he can also play as a DMF. dunno if he's too offensive for a CB. Another solution IMO is Goian (Steaua) he's 1.94, 27 and has quite some expierience. but it would be a massive blow for steaua if he leaves.
 
Is Kompany really likely to join Arsenal? I read rumours about this before...
 
Here in Belgium there are rumours that Arsenal are interested in Kompany.
In this thread nobody seemed interested in this news...

Kompany would be nice!

On the other hand, Robinho would be a disaster in the Premier League. Keep your windows closed beboq, cause that ain't happening ;)
 
There have been rumours about so many players in the news lately, that the rumours abt Kompany coming to Arsenal was not really shocking to us. Kompany could be a good player, i guess.

Leaving out Ben Arfa frm the French squad is quite ok coz there are many wingers-esp Ribery. But why Flamini? He has always been on the bench or played a bit whenever he played for France. This is really strange. So 2 current players and 1 ex player of Arsenal who are all currently hot in form left out of France Squad.

And Fabregas has been given the No.10 jersey for Spain!!!

Nah, Flamini's never been that much on first squad. He's played most of his game as a substitute when Vieira and others were injured. It comes with no surprise that he's not part of the french squad.
Vieira, Makélélé, Toulalan and Diarra have been really good and there's nothing to change for the moment.
Even tho Flamini deserves it, we'll have to wait 'till the world cup to see him in a big competition.
 
Didn't see it like that until now,but just 'cause you had a great season doesn't mean your warrent a 1st team spot on the team. FRANCE made the WC final, 1st team deserve their run til further notice and that goes to speedy clichy and mighty magma sagna. I hope they understand that and don't be gutted imo France will need their services in the near future vive Le Bleu! y Espana tan bien!

Alex Hleb has declared he's quitting Arsenal because he can't see them winning trophies.

He told the Daily Mail: "Titles are the most important thing. You can play very well, perhaps the best ever but after the career you ask what you have won.

"To win a title is also the most important thing for me. The clock is ticking but it is simply not happening. It is very difficult. In this year I thought that I would win two titles, but as I said everything went wrong.

Seriously i havent seen the word "quit" anywhere other than the 1st sentence. This Media really sucks!!!
 
This something ive posted in all the main Prem threads, what do you lot think about the FIFA rule that seems like is going to happen with a max of 5 foreign players and how will it affect your club?
