Our first choice midefileders could do brilliantly in years to come but without silverware, mark my words, wilshere and co will jump ship just like the rest of our top players.
Our attack is kind of shit indeed when RVP is injured and so is our defence. dont be fooled in the clean sheet last night. seriously we was fucking lucky to have kept a clean sheet. Defend like that throughout the campaign and we wont keep many clean sheets. And had Messi and co be at the end of some of those chances, they would have killed us.
Dont be too excited about that cleansheet in other words because we was very lucky. no ifs or buts about that mate.
I expect maybe a draw against liverpool and for us to beat the crap out of united as its a no pressure game for us. When there is no pressure, we seem to beat the top teams but as soon as itsa knock out cup or a crucial PL fixture around march onwards, we faulty like idiots and play as bad a division one team.
The real test in terms of PL games is not now, its come march onwards. That will be the real test if its ground hog day all over again or if we actually produce the goods when it really counts.
Two of our top players have/are leaving, you use the rest as if they all have gone? I also think Fab would have left anyway even if we would have won something, he would just be leaving on a high instead (but there is no point speculating about that anyway)
I'm not being fooled by the cleansheet, I know they could have scored, but in that same respect we could have also got at least another 2, so all this ifs and buts just do not work at all (you say that there are none, but that is what you are doing

). What happened is we got a clean sheet, what that does mentally for the team is really good. You also forget to mention the situation last night where 2 of our defence went off injured aswell? so that played a big part aswell.
I doubt we will beat the crap out of Man United at their ground with the suspensions and injuries we have, I fully expect the loss. But If we can draw against Liverpool (hopefully win) and get a result against Udinese, then we will be in a good position going forward with players coming back from injury and suspension.
Again to say we were playing like a division one team is so exagerating it actually makes me angry when you say that. Most of the games we lost last season we had the better stats overall, just we weren't putting away our chances or we had some defensive lapses and had major lapses of concentration, that doesn't mean we were playing that badly. Anyway, I don't want to open this all up again
But yes of course, if we are doing well this season, then of course I don't think 1 Arsenal fan will be counting their chickens before the eggs have hatched.
