but, i'm few sad for arsenal..
for me arsenal was a great team, with great players..big game mode...
and..Now? There aren't aces...The team need 2-3 player of first level..

Hazard? Kaka? another?

I think that arsenal need 1 CB,1 MF and 1 FW
 
I read in a Portuguese newspaper that Arsenal were interested in Lucho Gonzalez but apparently Wenger turned down the deal saying Lucho "is too old" for the Gunners. :LOL: Probably bullshit anyway.

Another one leaving the club in his hardest moment. Modern football players have such a loyalty...

A mi tambien - muy triste ver a un gran equipo, desglosado a los ninos y no experiencia.

Espero que nos basamos en estas ventas, pero mi corazon me dice que no!

- Hulk (i think that arsenal need FW-wing)
- Modric
- Marco Marin from Werder Breme (great player for arsenal style)

i don't understand why arsenal no sign Mata....
 
It would be a disaster if Arsenal signed Kaka, he's an overweight has-been, he couldnt hack the pace of La Liga so I've no idea how he'd manage in the Premier League.

I also don't know why he sold Eboué last week. He could have kept him til after the Udinese 2nd leg, played him in that and then sold him. Galatasaray aren't in Europe (so he wouldnt have been cup tied) and their season doesnt begin for 2 weeks.

Wenger needs to get himself over to Germany sharpish and use all the Fabregas, Touré, Nasri and Adebayor money to sign some great players from the most difficult league in Europe.

It seems like Arsenal aren't going to spend big this year. I think they should go in for Mertersacker or Westermann (might cost a bit) to shore themselves up at the back, even Van Buyten could do a job at the back and all of these except Westermann could be had for around £10m or less. If they want to spend big and invest in the future they should sign Andres Beck (the Soviet-born German at Hoffenheim) or Neven Subotic (at Dortmund) but these guys are young and it would cost a bit to get them - that said they might be cheaper than Walcott v2 they signed last month.

In midfield they need a ball winner, I'd go for Rolfes of Leverkusen (not cheap but better than Vidal) or I'd even by Höwedes of Schalke and play him in a holding role again he's fairly young. Upfront he should try and sign Schürrle from Leverkusen, they paid Mainz €8m for him in September last year, I'd try and tempt Leverkusen with a €13m bid. Then sign a big physical striker like Pogrebnyak (who would be cheap from Stuttgart) or Ibisevic from Hoffenheim. If he's looking outside of Germany he could do worse than signing Aliyev and Milevsky (both at Dinamo Kiev).

He needs to sign German or German-based players, with them you get born winners and consummate professionals. The Germans would also add a bit of much needed steel to the rather flakey Arsenal back line.
 
Arsene wants to play midgets upfront, nevermind physical centre forwards. RVP is our most physical option, apart from Chamakh who shouldn't be even considered at the moment.

Now that the expected has happened (Fab and Nasri leaving) let's see if the unlikely happens (new signings).

The way things are right now, I'd say Wenger has gone cuckoo and pushed the self-destruct button.
 
Nasri leaving is simply stupid. He is doing everything to lose his place in the France NT.
 
Yeah, Nasri is seriously going to need to justify why he'd want to leave a top 4 club at which he would be the focal point, playing every week for one where his role in the starting XI is hardly clear.

I mean, other than the obvious one.
 
Eh? Im no City fan but he's left a team likely to finish 4th at best to a "Top 3" side and likely to get a hefty wage packet.

He's also got nothing to worry about starting IMO.

He will certainly claim that City are in a position to win stuff. While they actually have now more quality than Arsenal, that isn't necessarily the case, because cramming loads of players at once in a team doesn't make it a proper TEAM. City still aren't a concise unit.

Having said that, we all know £££ is the main reason, even though he will say that at Arsenal he was less likely to win stuff.

Amazing how football is turned upside down and spoiled by billionaires whose funds are of dubious origins to say the least.
Not long ago Arsenal was kicking wholesale ass in the Premier League and City was fighting relegation...

i think you are right about city but nasri 90% went for the money and 10% went to have a slightly better chance of winning things
 
what u read isn't always the truth, hopefully it is as arsenal really need to invest in at least 3/4 players
 
well, if that`s the case everyone knows how desperate we are plus the price will surely inflate buying so late. Unless clubs are truly in financial blunder and will throw their players at us for a reasonable fee
 
I read a link somewhere posted by Jonney about Wenger not being able to spend because of the board and because of financing. I have a feeling that article completely summed up the Arsenal situation. This is very similar to Milan 2 years ago... we sold Kaka for £70m but signed 1 player and had to suffer for two season until we began re-investing. The club needed to cover the red and to reinvest in contracts before moving forward. We were so desperate that we brought Beckham in for merchandising.
 
i'm really baffled to whom wengert could bring in, gourcuff springs to mind being french and young, only problem is his inconsistancy and he would cost a fair bit, if arsenal finish 4th or above this year, it will be one of wengers biggest career moments easily

Wait how can that be? We`re supposedly went from £420m to £135m in debt and that figure was from early this year. I`m sure debt is moveable and no one is using their ”management fees” and leaking funds for their reinvestment. Mr. Stan is putting his money on buying shares which is not borrowed to my understanding. I don`t believe a single word when Wenger says things. He hates giving the media anything and rather fans go ape mad than let the media get a sniff. I have little clue what wenger does and neither do the bloggers :LOL: I do know Wenger is trimming the fat and at the same time has cut a bit of meat with it *Nasri and Fabregas too! He never surround fab w/ top players just potential which is putting steaks on paper plates and think it`s classy.

I'm hoping with the recent injury news our squad will look something like this. Rosicky hasn't impressed me at all so far. Maybe Song and Frimpong together in midfield? Who really knows, our squad is so depleted.

Injuries is whats' going to destroy you if you don't bring in the players, I invested a lot in Wilshire being the one to step up when Cesc and Nasri departed but we all know how that's turned out, Arshavin and Walcott just don't look like top 4 players to me either.

Worrying times.
