It wont finish the franchise (well the franchise already ended with PES, i´m talking only in efootball perspective here), even if it fails on console and PC because of it being a subpar game, but for a mobile perspective, it will never fail. Whats on the mobile market, that is near this game quality, for the soccer genre? The answer is, not a single game, and that is why they brag about their hundred million downloads, because they know they make, and will continue to make even more money on that.

And since now this is a Platform, with only one common denominator (gameplay) with Unreal Engine 4 and only graphicall aspecths being different, they can afford to maintain all of them, since due to the scalabillity of UE4 and who knows UE5 in the future, this should be an easy thing to maintain.
 
After trying FIFA 21 on PC I can say that it will be tough for Konami to do worse than EA in terms of gameplay.
The mobile game might still be the best option to play a new football game on PC...

I think you are underestimating konami. They are still one of the biggest publishers in Japan. Efootball's menial yearly development and low cost of production will keep it afloat for years to come. They switched to f2p for this exact reason, to stay in business year in year out, and to prey on gambling addicts.
 
Why has spoony pizzas hands on exclusive video got footage of what looks like a modded pes 21 with spurs and rb leipzig????

40 year old secondary school teacher here..(also work for Brighton and Hove albion football club, I see the guy above you is a fan) Still defending Pes to all the teenagers LOL. Getting laughed at when I do.

I've been there from the iss Ps1 demo days. Literally got all my friends onto the game from fifa. Even now my mates come over 1 evening a week for game.

Regardless how bad the new one is. I'll still play pes 2021 with V9 Option file.

Currently fifa22 has won my heart and mind.I don’t say that lightly and I must stress it makes me feel how pes once did in its heyday.It’s not cosmetic,i know that and I’m well versed enough with 14 and 16 unpatched for it to be switching to a different game or down to only limited playing time with 20 or 21(those games just didn’t resonate with me.It’s just really good 22 especailly via FUMA.The AI is refreshing as is the gameplay and the tech behind it lives up to the hype.It’s the only fifa I’ve ever played that makes me forget or care about who’s made it.

Back to Efootball 22.I’m going to install,play with a open mind and hope there’s leg’s and plenty of potential going forward.There’s many of us on here that will be able see if the base has promise.Looking forward to the discussion.

Fairly local yes, Seaford.

Yeah got there in the end last night after a poor performance! Cracking scenes at the end though.

Definitely have to get an online game going! 👍🏼

midnight tomorrow night makes most sense, but it may be dependant on Steam updating and thats 6pm Thursday evening i think?. Although, whenever I have bought FM on steam, I am certain it unlocks at midnight

Yes, it is nonsense. Once you consider the position in the world of billion-dollar publishers; the predatory marketing techniques leveraging manipulative psychology tricks; the consumption patterns far wider than any industry, let alone any company; the legislative frameworks which fail to punish gambling in games; the way of life for customers who engage with these products/services; the place of football and videogaming in various cultures—once you consider such factors, it would be utterly inane to conclude that the real problem is individuals downloading the game or buying DLC or even buying premium currency.

It is a myopic and senseless focus on the individual, extending as far and as absurdly to the claim that nobody who has downloaded the game has a right of complaint in a public interest-group forum dedicated to football gaming.

Konami held out on releasing B-roll footage to their contacts in the media/on YouTube. So their plan was to release footage alongside the feedback, but Konami shafted them on that score at the last minute. Accordingly, they just used other unrelated footage as a placeholder while talking over the videos. Pretty sure this was explained in the videos themselves; every one of them I saw.
