That is a hammerblow. Spring 2022 can easily become Autumn 2022, and a whole new start for eFootball 2023. And if costs exceed projected revenues, with no fixed endpoint... cancellation of the whole project is a real possibility. It'll be interesting to see if they leave the demo/Beta running as-is until Spring 2022.

But seriously, to fix the AI and other core gameplay issues is going to take months. 6 months, maybe more. You can't fix all of that in a month or two. And it has to be optimized for PCs and consoles. I don't even think it will be ready by Spring. Autumn, maybe early Winter at the most. And once again, the roadmap is DEAD. A roadmap makes sense when you have nailed down the basics. They haven't, which is why it made no sense to even announce it in the first place.

All of this was avoidable if they had just said we need more time. Most of us would have been ok with it. Many of us understood the difficulties of making a game during a pandemic.

Hopefully this will end all this bullshit about imaginary patches and how Konami is secretly updating the game. What triple A gaming publisher do you know of that "secretly" updates their games without releasing any patch notes? How do you know the game was updated if they don't tell you? "Oh, the passes feel different". How the does that explain anything? Some people can be so dumb and what's worse is you have a youtuber in the pes/fifa community putting out false information about the game being "updated".

So that's pretty much a nail in the coffin to any content creators out there.

Do Konami seriously expect us to play 5 minute matches with 9 teams for the next 6 months? The least they could do is unlock the game time & add some more teams.

In all honesty this disaster should be removed from every & platform deleted from history.

It's time to sell the franchise Konami & let somebody competent have a go with it.
 
Just played a game on the Series X version with the new patch (just under 2gb) and playing FUMA I noticed no difference than before the patch except maybe faster ball movement and L2 toned down.

theres only one way you'll know when bhatti approves of pes is the day he continuously sends pics and gameplay videos of his master league journey on a daily basis not once in a blue moon where he signs neymar and you never hear from him again atm action speaks louder than words
