eFootball (All Platforms)

For the very first time, an African competition is licensed on PES- Efootball

Good morning Evo-Webbers, and welcome to: How do they waste this licence - the party game.

1. The countries are available for single matches against the AI and thats it
2. They make a group stage based on the online part of the game where you need a certain amount of points to continue, effectively removing any possible immersion
3. They make up a new and surprising way of ruining this somehow instead of just 100% copying the structure of the tournament because why make sense when they can make sh*t?

Don't understand how this makes a party game? Well, you open a bottle of booze and then you drink the whole thing because PES is long dead and efootball is terrible.

I want to say few words about elegance of creating code to "attempting a simulate the most frustrating game experience for both sides" (for winning and for loosing also) - it's a talent of developers, no any excuses, exactly as is.
May be "Golden Raspberry" in games category can be awarded by right.

If we call it ePingPong - it will be even funny )

Pro Evolution Soccer was all about care football, love to details, good approach of developers, while trying to catch "feeling of soccer itself", eFootball - just give agression and frustration mostly, honestly.
Very sad - that this is main feature of many coin-based game projects ...
And even good looking Gran Turismo 7 - too about it, about microtransactions ... By the way - funny even such name, we all know that it's literally "macrotransactions".

It was 2. They did that one.
Also, because these lazy bastards couldn't make a separate offline mode, you can't change the game speed.
Why Konami got this license or any license really is beyond me.

Few my notes about eFootball and it's common state:

It's a very strange generation, who playing actively in most of modern sport games, that exist on the whole field of game industry.
Most games are coin-based and addict causing, that do not need real skill, but just need to buy a coins, have a fast dopamine, who can't even lose with respect (while most of them using connection troubles, possibility to escape from match and do not count result of match), real physics of ball was replaced by a ping-pong moves of ball, whole gameplay (that was a cool feature of PES, catching details and feeling of soccer) was replaced also by a weird-made mobile game, that comes also to PC and to consoles.

Very very sadly, that real principles of sport was replaced by a pathetic copy.
Script overrides actions "do not matter how cool card of soccer player is" - even in this "cards trade" - also gambling machine and own funnies from developers.

Has there been an update? Fired it up today and feels like a different game, in a good way, the A.I are scoring a good variety of goals, the game seems more fluid /organic, granted there isn't a decent single player mode, but the actual gameplay seems to be vastly improved

SFOT, but playing FIFA 16 after eFootball - as a drink of a fresh air in comparison.
Man, you nailed it. I hate FIFA, but FIFA 16 seems like the best soccer game ever nowadays. I paid like 10 dollars for a Brazilian patch with more than a thousand stadiums and had such a great experience, sheesh.

Proud to be talking to you as well, I've downloaded the WE9LE version you posted in this forum some years ago. That felt great after so many years of not playing any PES besides 2021. :))

1. Is efootball 2025 26 playable offline?
2. Is it possible to play older versions of efootball?
3. Which is the last PES available that can be played completely offline?
4. Since online era, games suck (not only PES).

If these were questions:
1. Offline Mode or offline in the sense of none Net-connection? First definetly not. Secound i guess not, too
2. No. But you can visit BTTP-Thread from Energia for PES 2021 and get some Gameplaymods Efootball related.
3. PES 2021
4. True

To answer the first, there's offline modes (authentic match a.k.a exhibition & some league thing using your dream team), if your game is offline, only authentic match is available I believe.

To answer the third, all PES are offline as the servers have been shut down for all of them

AI vs AI gameplay is fun to watch, but I think the average player is way too good at dribbling, and nearly every team is amazing at tiki taka. Anyway, here’s some nice Pires goals

It could be so good if they gave even the smallest bit of a shit. but they don't sadly.

That game has zero tactics to it. I really do not see why people love it, I've seen most of the patches people rave about and there are so many problems, glaring huge issues.

But i guess the AI obsessed with passing sideways beat this eshamblessball. Its also the last FIFA that can be modded heavily before Frostbite ruined everything.

It's been at least a year since I last downloaded Efootball on Steam(PC version), only to uninstall it again after three days. Has anything changed? I'm not expecting any offline content or improved graphics, of course. The live gameplay certainly still looks worse than PES 3. But seriously, is there anything new, like animations, are the legs no longer just bent at an angle, or any gameplay adjustments worth playing some offline matches on fuma?

If anything, the game became faster during the last 12 months.

I know what can be a main feature of this game and even some useful thing - this game will learn you a patience.
While you are doing facepalm, looking "what's happening in the match against all laws of logics and physics".

I want to share some information about matches in eFootball.
Sorry for some rude words, but I can't find another ...

e-Football-10.jpg

I was played match online with new-created team just for testing purposes.
While as a rival was team with 105-107 level players and he is scoring and scoring, not matter anything, what's happening in the field ...
When I was put gamepad, he is still scoring ...

For what purpose this "money-skilled players" play this game ?

Mostly they are will be scoring goal after goal, even if you are out of pc or console for a minute.
What's totally wrong with them ? And with "Fair Play" principle ?
Is it mostly common situation in all modern online games, where peoples play not just for pleasure of both, but for dominating under others ?

Are they completely "ill-head" players ?

eFootball really has a very sad community. The person you faced has spent thousands of dollars on his team just to statpad against a completely new player with a beginner team. I don't think this is the same with all modern online games, but eFootball in particular seems to attract this kind of player.

Some people think eFootball is shit, some people think eFootball is good. How many times do we need to go through this?

Let people have their opinions and stop trying to convince them otherwise

That's what people are doing? What even is this post, brother?
Everytime someone makes some valid points about something negative, you start telling people to stop posting?

"Let people have their opinions .."

EDIT: The "negative" criticism started when this eSHAMEball was still called 'newfootballgame.exe'
Red flags all over the shop, "it's just an network test" .. but when anyone dared question coinami,
they were met with backlash & ridiculed.

Toxic positivity. Let's just pretend everything is alright because "those others are just negative & they hate everything!"
Well done. You shut down all the criticism, now 3+ years on, we don't even have a master league.
And people are STILL shutting down criticism? It's not even WHEN, the question is, WILL you learn?

It's simple. If you don't like it, play something else. If you do, enjoy it. Some people just post the same stuff always, it's like the government posting their propaganda.

And after all those three years of criticism, the game has changed so much in that time, so well worth it 😏

(I've not actually played the game in maybe... 6 months. Because I'm not a glutton for punishment like some here seem to be)

It is indeed simple friend. If you don't like reading it, stop coming into this thread, or just ignore it?

Anyway, let me ask a question out into the forum.
Forget Master League, contrary to popular belief, I do care about pvp online COMPETITION.
So the question is, after their most successful (correct if wrong) financial term with this pachinko machine,
WHY are the online matches still being played with, what I presume is the old peer-2-peer connection?
HOW can't they afford semi-decent servers to atleast make their flagship mode function with some stability?

If your answer if not Greed, you are wrong.

Because most rich people in the world are so because they don't spend what they don't need to. Companies are the same. They are there to make money from you, not give you enjoyment.

If the latter were the case, we'd have PES 2026 by now

There's no toxic positivity in this thread, it's filled with people shitting on the game. Nobody is "shutting down all the criticism".

LOL .. I tried to have a serious conversation. I really tried. .So alright, just completely ignore both my question, & the very recent shut-down post, from the guy I was responding to.

You are a prime of example of the deny & deflect theorum. Gaslighting 101, whilst trying to appear as the positive minded one

No problem company man. I bet they love that they have fans like you. You are smart enough to know the problems,
but you don't have the WILL to do anything about it.

Instead you will try to put down & silence others trying to raise concerns. Why? Does it make you feel smart?
Do they give you a cookie? I honestly can't wrap my head around it.

You can't & won't change anything with this attitude.
People have written & like to think "they don't check these forums anyway, who cares"
But I beleive if this whole forum boycotted their online only, mobile tech demo from the start, we may have had a more solid product right now.
