Also if the whole forum would have boycotted the game from the beginning it still wouldn't have mattered. Forums are usually a very small amount of the overall player base of a game. I do think companies should listen to the feedback of forums since they usually contain a very invested hardcore audience but many companies won't.

It took this company two-three years to open all difficulties, teams, and time limits. I'm sure the employees are aware of such forums as this and take the feedback, but here we are four and a quarter years down the line and the game is in basic terms the same as it was when it was launched. Where's ML that people crave so much? Where's basic offline modes outside of 'Authentic match'? Where's edit mode, even a basic version like the PSP had? They don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in. I also don't know what you're fighting, and suspect you've done a Roy Keane, seen your chance to stick the boot in and taken it. I'm sure the game has it's good points, if I could make the AI more challenging on mobile, I'd probably play it there on occasion. But as it doesn't work for me, I don't play it. I vote with my actions, not my fingers and voice.
And it's a shame as I'd have gotten so damn excited if all the leagues and teams in eFootball were in PES 2021, including Liga MX when it was there. What a waste

Possibly a case of EDS, or eFootball Derangement Syndrome. Some have it, some don't. Some are unhappy with current climate of the game, some aren't. Everyone's truth is different. Me... I think the gameplay is brilliant, and again, after this update, the gameplay incrementally gets better and better. I've been playing efootball PES 2021 quite a bit of late, mainly due the solid gameplay (using Holland's gp mod) and the superior stadium's and turf/lighting etc. But, when I go and try eFootball 2026, again, It's different, and feels smoother (less on rails), and things just feel better on the pitch, particularly the way the ball moves on the pitch and though the air (shots on goal just have the real life ping to them). Both are great games. I'm glad we have both.

The only thing I disagree with what you just wrote, is the fact that Konami don't focus their gameplay on football... or realism (im guessing thats what you mean). It's the base of the game, and it has to be decent to draw people in. In my view, it has the best gameplay, in terms of realism and fun, compared to any football game to date.
In terms of fun I agree with you in that it's one of the most fun football games released in the last 5 years but there isn't a lot of competition in that space anyways, the only competition is FIFA which is just horrible. I think the dribbling is the best in any football game ever after PES 18.
But realism wise I don't think the game is very realistic, dribbling is far too easy and it's too easy to break down the midfield. The thing is I think if Konami made the slightest effort to make the game more realistic they would succeed, the gameplay would be one of the best in PES' history if they focused on making it more realistic and more like football. The base is there.

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay with authentic teams and lower-rated teams is quite decent, maybe good, especially when playing full manual.
BUT 30 min. ago i played online against someone with a 3305 rating team and smart assist... this was PURE BULLSHIT! This has nothing to do with good gameplay or some kind of football; it's a scripted and automated mess. I can't believe that this is what people want online, disgusting!

Coinami would never lie. So my question to online pvp players is, does lag switching still exist?
Are people still able to sabotage matches & ruin connection, when they start losing?

Just my two cents after abandoning the modern football games, all i have to say is, both fifa and efootball terribly fail to capture the real spirit of football. One glaring example is goal mouth action (ps2 era), there used to be so much scramble for loose ball after a shot (for good few seconds) bodies falling, defenders flying, frantic all out action in front of a goal that, as a gamer, you'd panic and be thankful to just clear the ball away, the game just sucked you in. Now? Boom ! Gone, either its deflected directly to an attackers feet to score, or given a free pass to clear, no inbetween. No new modern footy game captures that true football spirit anymore.
But Hey ! The base is there, and we've been saying that since 2014 that is.

I don't beleive a website article, published by a company thats been lying through the teeth since PES 2022.

Will apparently follow onto console and PC "at a later date".
