Let's face it tho.. Any other time Krul would've been no. 1.
My understanding is that they've used him consistently to practice pk's on.. Whether it pays off though..
Netherlands is notoriously bad at pk's so this shit bothers me to no end.
 
gutted for Costa Rica....it was a dream world cup...

now i think Holland are favourites...they have better style than Argentina...

Germany - Holland final in Brazil, my prediction.

Good tournament by Costa Rica, think they can travel home with their heads up very high, they delivered us many good fights.

Like I said earlier this WC, the Netherlands just isn't a likable team. I know a few great Dutch people though, so how a bunch of pricks manages to make it into the NT is quite weird.
 
Its a proud 'day' for Costa Rica they went farther then most expected...Im not a fan of the Netherlands I`ll leave it as that.
 
Two unorthodox subs by van Gaal in the last two games have squeezed an average Dutch side into the semis.
 
Krul, what a prick. Keepers shouldn't be allowed to that, it's fucking embarrasing and demotes the fair-play shit FIFA want to achieve (apparently).
 
Van Gaal is massively overrated by everyone. Pretty much everything he's done has been incredibly lucky, Krul coming on didn't make a difference in my opinion, he only saved one penalty and any other goalkeeper would've saved it. Yet everyone will say it was a brilliant move, just like putting on Kuyt, who was constantly caught out when he was on the left against Mexico.
 
I was cheering for Costa Rica and glad they make it to penalty's but somehow I was happy Dutch won it, I want to see Argentina vs Mexico as semi final and not Argentina vs Costa Rica...

I think Costa Rica has gone far enough and they must be proud of this , no one even though they would make any point from their group before WC started!
 
still, LVG has a lucky hand so far....this world cup...now i have no doubt they can go to final and win it...

players like Robben are one of the best this tournament...

the guy is phenomenal.

he save two penalty not one
 
Krul guessed every penalty too, as well as saving two of them.

But was a d*ck talking to the strikers and what not before each one. Should have been cautioned for that.
