FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

i want to watch all the matches this world cup :D if possible..

that´s my personal challenge i will gladly accept :D

Only missed three games in 2006 and 2010 each, hope I'll get my 64-round this year. Most probably won't because of some games starting at 3:00 in the morning, when I have to work the same day. :D

Yes, I have tickets for all Brasilia fixtures (except 3rd and 4th place match, which I couldn't be bothered).
I almost feel guilty giving my money to FIFA, but it's a once in a lifetime thing, so what the hell... :P
What about you, going to matches in Rio?

all matches in Rio except the final, Switzerland x France in Salvador.
I have the same guilty in my shoulders, but I wouldn´t live the rest of my life well thinking that I didn´t go!

I´m couting the days for Argentina x Bosnia!!

Arena Corinthians is such an atrocity, they should have used Morumbi in SP while Rio could have Maracana and Engenhão, two venues like Johannesburg and Paris had in their World Cups.

i like Corinthians stadium because it´s unique design...rest i can´t tell on first sight from inside what stadium it is, especially those round ones..., in fact for me it is the best looking stadium in Brazil... still waiting on pics from Palmeiras new one..but Corinthians is great imo. To bad so much people died during construction..shouldn´t happend in our times that people die making buildings...

Well, deaths and questionable funding is what you get for giving the WC to a underdeveloped and corrupt country. I'm not even going to mention the crime rates... I support the recent ideas of sharing the tournament between several countries based on their current capacity to host.

Apparently this will be Germany's lineup. Liking the attacking trio very much, especially Müller deployed as a CF. The midfield and defence aren't exactly what I expected, nor it is comforting (Boateng to watch over Cris? lol). It'll be interesting to see.

If they really play like that, I hope they fail miserably and Löw fucks off. Absolute misuse of a fantastic squad. How can you bench (potentially) the best player in your squad in Özil? Why does he have to copy Guardiola's bullshit with a false nine and Lahm in midfield? If there's one right-back who's capable of stopping Ronaldo, it is Lahm for sure. Also Höwedes at left-back? Why would you let a real left-back (Schmelzer) out of the squad only to play a central defender there? It's a ridiculous first team. This line-up would be perfect for Germany imo:

Odd.

Germany can do better than Schurrie and Podolski.

some rumors say they will play 4-3-1-2(diamond mf).
----------lahm
-khedira-------kroos
----------özil
-müller------podolski

no klose, no cup I say :SHAKE:

I'd say have Ozil, Goetze and Muller together with Podolski making a very fluid offense.

Klose doesn't have the stamina to last all 90 minutes up and down with the fast pace of the midfield. I think he's still super effective as a super sub. (I do hope he doesn't score at all though...hahahaha, I'm sorry)

Lol... Müller is the least talented successful footballer in modern times. I'm not trying to disrespect him in any way, I would love having such a player in my squad as he's a winner with the ability to be at the right place at the right time, but in terms of raw football talent he's lacking. I'm not even certain whether he's smart or just lucky, but it doesn't matter. He is what he is.

are you kidding he is an all around jolly joker in the offence and midfield with a cool head. he is a dime. no wonder Bayern dont want to get rid of him

No, I'm not kidding, far from it. Technically he's an attacking version of Carlton Palmer.

hope everything will be right in this world cup... the football, referees, fans.. good luck Brazil...

i have still mixed feelings about the whole situation there..

Well, that settles it... That was the most important goal for Brazil this WC. This paves the way for Neymar to relax the pressure and give him space to keep going.

I disagree with this - Klose has been Lazio's starting striker in the last 2 years and has been great. He's quick and sharp, and still scores loads of goals. Age doesn't always mean bad stamina - Zanetti and Maldini were running up and down the flanks until their 40s!

Good first half for us (I have expected it to be worse to be honest). But Neymar should have been taking early shower for that clearly intentional foul on Modrić instead of celebrating the goal

I like how Brazil's trident are constantly switching their positions and how Hulk still can't manage to find himself.
