FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

and foul in the middle after which Brazil scored their 3rd goal? Come on FIFA...why they have to play if it is already decided that Brazil will win the trophy?

Croatia was the better team in the match tonight...

this is a shame for the sport..

i want to hope this world cup will be a great one, but this is just... i have lost words after i saw what the ref did tonight..

They are allowed to touch the keepers, says nothing about keepers being off limits to touch in a duel. Besides, it was as much Julio Cesar that touched Olic and not the other way around. Keepers are too protected as it is, doesn't need to get extra protection from weak refs.
 
The Brazilian football team are nowhere near as good as they think they are. I miss the way the Brazilians use to play football.

On the small box you CANNOT make contact with the keeper. Any contact at all is subject to a foul. And even if it was outside the box, Olic touch the keeper's arms, which is a foul. It's the equivalent of a tackle in the leg of a field player.
 
First match and I see the FIFA hand on the match, thats remember me the World Cup of Korea and Japan, where the refs was bought...

Seems Brazil have to won this world cup yes or yes, or they brazilian people are gonna be more mad.
 
Wasn't the best match, but Croatia were wasteful upfront. Brasil looked like they played 4-1-5 . Neymar racking up those gol tallies!!
 
well, Neymar should be explaining why he was sent off, not celebrating two goals...but what's done is done...


It is time to blow few things up in KSP to calm down a bit :D

Went according to script I thought. Brazil WILL get all the necessary ref calls to go to the final guys. Make no mistake about it.

They don't NEED it but when the game is in jeopardy, expect any dive in the box to be called a penalty kick to bail them out.

This is why it wasn't worth betting on any other team to win the World Cup this year. Brazil must go to Final one way or another (whether they play well or they don't).

Olic jumps straight up, Cesar jumps into him. No foul.
 
Thanks, I was wrong but it's still no foul. Olic was in the air first and then the keeper jumped into him.
 
I see that image of Fred, and makes me to hate more the football.

That penalty ruined the match for me.
I was rooting for a Croatia goal after that, seriously.
And then there was the Croatia goal of course.

It's a shame for Brazil that, an embarrassment! I don't even know how fans and players can celebrate that.

That reminded me a lot of the Turkey match in 2002.
Brazilians showing the world how to be a scam artist and win no matter what. Yay.

I'm looking for a team to support in this World Cup. I was between Ivory Coast and Belgium. Now I want Croatia to go through this group and do well too.
 
Croatia didn't deserve the loss .. they really deserve at least a draw ..

but I'll disagree with all of you about the penalty, it was wright , the ref did good, Lovren lifted Fred's left shoulder, and that's a clear penalty, Fred was so clever to dive after that ..
