He also saved more shots from outside the area than any keeper last year.
Means he'll slot right into our central midfield's policy of getting close to but not stopping other teams attackers outside the box

Nah I can only see Modric going to Chelsea if he does leave (which he won't IMO).
I honestly don't think we'll sign a central midfielder (or probably anyone) now, which is so odd considering we do desperately need someone.

I had the pleasure of watching this kid from the stands when I was in Madrid back in January in an Atletico vs. Racing Santander match. Made a few great saves including one super man one right at the end to deny Racing all 3 points which would've driven the crowd MAD! lol They have the best fans in Spain! They already called him "El Rey" (King David De Gea) back then and their faith and chants were justified with that great last minute save to at least get a 'draw'.
He still has a LOT to learn but I like him a lot! He's already a good keeper and who knows maybe can be the next Casillas!
De Gea is hardcore Atleti. He'd never sign for Real. Actually that's not true... you can never say never in football but it's as unlikely as Torres going there.

I still can't see it, would signify something majorly, majorly wrong in the Arsenal ranks if he did come to us.
Would love it though, he's a magnificent player and offers something a little different to what we've already got. Don't usually go for his type of player either.

"Why did we sign Young and not get a DM instead"

That´s what i ask myself as well with the wingers you have already + Nasri..
won´t happend imo.. not as if i care if it will..
about the City rumours..they buy lot´s of players but they simply can´t keep all of them happy (or better said, in the team), wich means they also will sell...

I just wish the footballers spend .00001% of their salary on hiring a lawyer to sue rags for all they're worth when they make up quotes. That's so reprehensible, and no one does anything about it.
Anyway, still don't get this Nasri thing. I've not watched him enough (or paid enough attention) but he doesn't strike me as having the kind of engine you'd need to be part of a 2 man midfield, even if one is Carrick and provides the stability. He's a very talented footballer, but not really a United type, and certainly doesn't seem to be what we need right now.
I'm still eagerly awaiting our completely out of the blue midfield signing...

Pogba isn't really a DMF, more of an attack minded CMF. Real quality, but physically not quite ready yet. 2 seasons from now hopefully.
