Moyes is respected in the league. You won`t find 1 person to say anything nasty about him. I just wonder if Baines and Fellani are heading to OT w/ him.

I'm reading Moyes sued Rooney and won.£10m ? I can see Chels putting a big bid for Rooney. That will give Mutd options.

That was a long time ago, certainly didn't hear a value anywhere near that. Moyes and Rooney made up in the press in 2010, though obviously don't know anymore than the public view.

I can't tell where Rooney is at. He could stay and be a cornerstone of this team, or maybe he does want to try something new, abroad. Either way I'd respect his decision - he's on track to be the all time highest scorer for Manchester United. No mean feet.

So about Beach's formation... would be interesting to see if Valencia would improve his form next season, because I don't see how any other manager besides SAF would play him so much if he plays like he does now.

I must say, you are pretty decent at trolling almost anything Utd.

I'm not concerned about any potential abyss. It will happen again eventually, SAF or no SAF. Still not too worried about falling out of the title challenger category all together. The more likely thing to happen is that we may not be able to maintain the tenacity to always have a shot at virtually any trophy during the season. It s still a strange and somewhat shocking thought but life is a bit more interesting with a little change every now and then.

Nope Mancini has still never won a European trophy, despite having two very, very formidable squads. In fact I think the best he's ever managed is a semi-final.

Moyes got Everton that far in the Europa League I believe.

Oh and now all the journos are collectively agreeing Rooney has asked to leave again. Joy.

What a summer that'd be. Lose Fergie. Lose Rooney. Scholes retires again. Mourinho to Chelsea. City to buy Dortmund.

Exciting stuff.

Reached more finals than anyone else in his tenure. True, he was shown up twice in a row by that Barcelona team, but that team may go down in history as the best club team in the world.

He's won 3. Hardly weak. It's another myth the scousers in particular like to peddle.

Also worth noting that the strongest United team in the early/mid 90's weren't allowed to field their full team due to the rules.

Yes it's a glorious day for Manchester City - who should be revelling now that they will find it a bit easier to buy their title next year.

If that's true, make all the excuses you like, 2 CL, one won on penalties thanks to a slip, in 20 odd years at MUFC isn't great - according to you.

That was an obvious after effect the moment this morning's news broke, there wasn't really a destination for him other than reuniting with Sir Alex.

As I said prior, will be one hell of a Summer, just going to try and enjoy Swansea at home as much as possible, its going to be emotional stuff.

Amusing also listening to the confidence from Godotelli, ay maybe next year we'll only be 5 ahead instead of 10 ;))

Could see Moutinho (Moyes has been after him a few times) being a target.
Something tells me that Moyes doesn't get on with Fellaini
