From this season onwards, the Women's Champions League will only be available to watch in Germany on Disney+.
It's frustrating to have yet another streaming service.

Barca's women's team, who are clearly superior, easily defeated FC Bayern Munich's women's team 7-1. ❗‼️ 😧😮

The way it works (in the UK at least) with the men's CL pisses me off. Amazon gets one game per round, TNT the rest. That one Amazon game doesn't even feature on the TNT goals show.

No wonder people (like me) get Fire Sticks!

The ZDF (public television) owns the license to present one live game per week but they decided to only broadcast from the semifinals onwards (and only if a German team will play a sf).

Yeah, same way how it is in Germany with dazn and Amazon prime with men's football. One match on every tuesday matchday is streaming by Amazon prime. Everything else is streaming on dazn.

Thank you, I didn't know this till now. But yea, for ZDF it is much more importent to bring an 15 or 20 year old german or austrian tearjerker movie to the primetime than womens football, by the way. :SHAKE::Y1

In Ireland we get 3 free live games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights split between Rte and Virgin media, it's written into our constitution. Same with international football

No Serie A to watch this weekend. I woke up at 6:30 AM ready to watch a match, but then remembered it's International Break weekend.

Looka like its going to be a long night for Liverpool, and really fun to see Mario Götze still playing at this level
Edit:Game on, Etitike just made it 1-1, thats a proper signing vs the big one they did
Edit 2: Virgil makes it 2-1
Edit 3 Konate 3-1
Centerbacks for the win
Isak subbed at halftime, guess his pre season continues

Must admit I feared the worst when we conceded the first goal again, but the intensity and balance to our game has been much better tonight. Ekitike has been brilliant.

Wirtz has looked very good too, just needs a goal or assist to get going.

Same here, Eintracht looked good the first 20 min.
Wirtz will be so useful going fw, and if i was Arne id bench Isak and have Etitike starting if it comes down to just using one up front.
Fun game

Faroe islands are on the verge to qualify for the world cup.
54k people living there.
Insane..
And Kap Verde has qualified already, 400k inhabitants.
I would believe Faroe Islands stealing Icelands thunder like that, they have done it in other sports, they still have a few challenging hurdles ahead of them in qualifying.

Really a great journey that country has been on, first with KI Klaksvik and now this.
Think both Färöarna and Island has a great approach to football, with the indoor halls you have and the 24/7 open pitches they have.
And also the environment builds some character as well

On Sunday at 5:30 p.m. (German time), LFC will face City in Manchester.
I hope that our victory against Vardrid in the UCL has given us enough confidence to secure another three points here.

Although I don't believe we will win the EPL championship again, it would be important to me personally to steal points from Manchester City Group in their own living room. :P:BOP::RSCARF:

I literally hate the current World Cup format (48 teams). It has ruined so much of football imo.
The level of competitiveness for this tournament has been on all-time low. Countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Italy still couldn't benefited for this big expansion compared to the countries like Cape Verde and Curacao, who were pretty much weaker when it comes to football. Curacao isn't even technically an independent states, while being the smallest country to ever participate in the World Cup, lol.
Even the likes of Suriname and New Caledonia still have a chance through interconfederation playoff.
But FIFA refused that because they wanted more money, and now they can stand there pants down after what should/could have been the best edition for the greatest sporting event in the world.

An AFCON held in leap year starting in 2028 means we have a busy sporting events that year.
Imagine the Euros, Copa America, and the AFCON being held at the same time. It feels as if we had a "World Cup" tournament.

Kicking off north of the border too with Aberdeen and Celtic sacking their managers within 24 hours of each other. So much mismanagement in the league (which is currently as weak as it's been in some time).

Celtic are 2nd... Bit harsh to say the least.
Aberdeen 8th... Probably below par so maybe that might be justified but you'd know better than me.

I'm aware of Chelsea and Manchester United having their coach getting sacked recently.
Enzo Maresca had just led this club to the Conference League and the Club World Cup triumph, while Chelsea themselves were still in contention for the Champions League qualfiication spot.
Ruben Amorim and Manchester United were still in the Europa League Final the last season, even when the club sat 15th in the Premier League, while this season, they were also fighting for the Champions League qualification spot.
It's a bit harsh to say the least both Chelsea and Manchester United had a tough period this time around. If there's a thing that really destroyed the club's performance, then the club owner (Boehly/Ratcliffe) has to blame.

It's all relative really. Celtic should be able to beat most teams by simply showing up. Given their financial might and the state of Rangers, they should expect to have almost won the league by now.

Apart from our (glorious) cup win in May, Aberdeen have been so poor. If it wasn't for an amazing start in the league last season we'd have been in a relegation fight and after more major investment in the team in the summer results have been poor and performances even worse.

In Scotland, if Celtic and Rangers are outside the top two, something has gone wrong.

If Aberdeen, Hearts, or Hibs are outside the top five, something has gone wrong.

If Aberdeen, Hearts, or Hibs are outside the top league, something has gone really wrong.

If Celtic and Rangers are outside the top league, something has gone hilarious.

I know either Rangers or Celtic are supposed to win the league and a few of the teams that should be next in line so to speak but looking at the table after 20 games Celtic are only 6 points off the top which they could probably claw back. I guess Aberdeen are underperforming in 8th though so maybe that sacking is justified.
It would be better for the league if Hearts win it of course and probably about time Aberdeen won one too at some point.
