EA SPORTS FC 27

So you're calling modern football games unplayable, and then it turns out you literally didn't play any football games in the last 6 years?
What has changed in the last 6 years? What did he miss?

Let's see - on Konami side its only eFootball - a mobile game casino.

On EA side? They lost Fifa license and every game is basically the same crap, with a lot of catchy buzzwords, but no real differences in gameplay.

Its not early 2000's, where 6 years absence from football games would actually mean something

And honestly I can say that many old soccer games with outdated graphics and old game design and with using old limited game engines - are playing even now much more cool, with much more alive emotions inside, with much more cool "attempt to catch football details on the pitch" ...

I am sure, that some users of evoweb too wil be agree with me in this statement; those, who is trying to see "not only perfect modern picture, created by powerful modern hi-cost videocard", but "eccense of soccer", "catched in old game" by those developers, that found right game instruments in representing of this feeling.

PES 3, PES 5 - was such "fresh air breath" after some popular FIFA-s of those time ... Because this games really tryed exactly "catch feeling of true soccer" and did it!

I played Yesterday two games of FIFA 17.
The ball physics, the CPU behaviour, the intelligent fouls. What a game !

On legend, it was really awesome with default sliders.
But the good sign, it's for the first time for years, except the heaviness of the player and a ball with less freedom sometimes, I have this feeling on the FC 27 beta.

In two weeks, I hope it will be a good surprise because footy games now are not fun at all.

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a PS5—mainly in anticipation of GTA VI—and I'm debating whether to pick up EA Sports FC 27.
My situation:
* Last football games played: PS4-era FIFA and eFootball 2021.
* My main concern: The PS4-generation football titles felt incredibly underwhelming to me. I'm worried about dropping money on FC 27 only to find out it’s just the same old engine wrapped in a slightly shinier 4K coat of paint.
For those playing on PS5:
* Is the "Authentic" simulation pitch gameplay actually better/more realistic, or is it still driven by heavy scripting, ping-pong passing, and arcade pace?
* Does the jump to PS5 hardware feel like a genuine generational leap for sports games, or will I just end up feeling like it's no different than what we had on PS4?
* Is it worth it for a casual player, or am I guaranteed to have an underwhelming experience yet again?

Appreciate honest feedback before I spend the cash! Cheers.
Authentic gameplay is one thing, but (especially the new) sliders give you many ways to address pace, passing/buildup speed and precision.

Animation in general is still not as fluid as movements in PES, but is no gamebreaker anymore and the variety is great. Graphics are pretty much the same level as PS4 in 4K.

So with a little invest in settings there is much to discover.
