although I expect Miyaichi to be used every now and again.
And with the future of Samir Nasri still uncertain the Gunners could be heading toward the new season with a lack of senior experience in midfield but Robson has told talkSPORT: “You can’t call [Cesc Fabregas] a leader.
Stewart Robson
“Thierry Henry wasn’t a leader. He was, in my view, a poor captain. When things were going wrong for Arsenal he never stepped up.
“And when things were going wrong for Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas didn’t always step up either. There was that game at Newcastle last year where Cesc Fabregas was brilliant in the first-half and you didn’t see him in the second-half.
“That’s where Cesc Fabregas won’t be a loss as a leader because the feeling I get is that he’d lost interest in the club for a whole year and he wasn’t a good influence on some of the other players.”
Apparently you are keen on Scott Dann from Birmingham.
Most of the managers you mentioned haven't won anything for many years (Apart from Mourinho), just like Wenger? so I am quite confused how you think they will do much better than Wenger? how are you so sure?
I'm afraid of change, because I have seen other clubs change and be worse off for it and I don't want us to be worse off. I know you think we are the shittest club in the world for some reason, but that just isn't true, we have alot going for us and we are not far from doing very well.
We are a top team because we qualify for the champs league every year and do well in it on a consistant basis. But no we are not Barcelona or Man United.
Lots of things have changed Jonney over the years, if you think we are in the position now because Wenger is a shit manager, then I think you have a very simplistic view on things.
30m wont buy us a fabregas replacement. arsenal are idiots if they accept that offer. let fabregas rot in the reserves if he plays crap for us next season an strip him off his captaincy too. he still has 4 years left on his contract so why are Arsenal soo desperate and in a rush to sell him for? i can understand if it was Nasri with 1 year left on his contract but fabregas with 4 years?
Arsenal is a very big club, but clearly one cut below the likes of Barcelona, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Milan, Inter and the "nouveaux riches" Chelsea and Man City... There is nothing wrong with that. I envy people who can watch football regularly at the Emirates.
Besides Barcelona and arguably Udinese, Arsenal still played the most attractive football in Europe.
According to French publication L’Equipe, representatives of Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker Jadson have travelled to London today to discuss a potential move to Arsenal.
Very good player.

none taken mate. your a spurs fan aint u? if so u are indeed the best spurs fan i have ever known as many spurs fan hate arsenal as if all the arsenal players and staff slept with their other half or there mumI was just listening to the Football Weekly podcast. All the pundits seemed to agree that Arsenal are for years punching well above their weight. They have made a ranking acoording to the investment/result ratio and Arsenal are top of the table by far. Their conclusion was that complaining Arsenal fans should have more realistic expectations.
I really like Jonney, and in a way i understand him, but as a neutral who likes Arsenal i think fans who act like that are behaving a litle bit like spoiled brats...

PS: and look what happened to Udinese...their fans have every right to be gutted.
PPS: nothing personal jonney.

With Enrique going to Liverpool for peanuts, you do wonder sometimes what Wenger's playing at.

What are you saying beachryan ...cesc is [t]he highest at 90k not even rvp is there. Say what you want to make mutd look fair n balance LOL. What is arsenal's debt. Ratio ? Wenger is the highest paid employee lol . I do think we pay these kids 50k which is a lot but the high est you getting at arsenal will be 70k at best. Take 150-200k mutd offers plus high transfer you Chelsea n city are about par.
