big talk from u but we have supported wenger for s very long time. there is only soo much one person can take. all the writings are on the wall. these are not peoples opinions where talking about. these are hard cold facts

Two of our best CM are leaving
No world class player wants to join arsenal
We have failed in the final quarter of every season for thepast 6 years
no trophies for 6 years
same defencive errors/mistakes for 6 years

I think Wenger is the man to blame for the situation that Arsenal are into now. If it wasn't for his stubborness to buy only youngsters from France and Spain, he could have won at least two titles and keep players such as Fab and Nasri happy. It's time to change your way of thinking Wenger. If not, be a gentleman and just leave
 
Don't know how much of this is true, but i just flew in from Madrid (signing for Getafe you see :)) and looks like the Cesc transfer is a mess - wondering if Barca will piss him off. Same news from Marca printed on Football365...

Pretty sure I've read that the rules are different in Spain, they can't offer professional contracts to young players. That's why a lot of Barca fans don't like it when English clubs come in waving big money in front of the kids, of course he's not going to stay.

He's finally back where he belong, finally smiling again :SMUG:

Strange Wenger said in the Arsenal interview that it was happening. And today's press conference saw him dodging and avoiding all those questions and saying he's not expecting anyone to leave!
WTF? We are going until the last minute of this transfer windown without a clue, apparently. That's the added drama and emotion for being an Arsenal fan.

There are some reports that the Cesc move has hit a hurdle in the last moment... Oh well!

We're too stupid to do that - I mean just look at the supposed deal that has been agreed with Barca.

* £30m upfront...
* Plus £5m in payment bonuses dependent on games played and trophies won...
* Plus £5m over 5 years from Fabregas ...

What a shit deal for a player of his calibre and Arsenal pleasing Barca after another summer on cuntidness from the Catalans.

So far there isn't any confirmation of this Cesc deal, that's frustrating, now I just want it to go through.
The values discussed are never clear, some sources say Arsenal are getting £35m upfront + bonuses... but if it really is 30 + 5 (performances) + 5 (Cesc's salary) that it really is a shitty deal. Cesc's wages shouldn't come into these maths.
Some sources say it's loyalty bonus due, that he's willing to give up to go. Sounds awkward to have your captain paying from his own pocket to walk away, but there you go. As long as Arsenal receive £40m in the end - which is still a bargain for a genius playmaker, if we consider the Pastores, Agueros and Carrolls of contemporary market...

Should work great on counters, but those guys will struggle as ever against Prem clubs who park the bus against us.

For someone who loves to talk about Mental Strength, Wenger seems to completely ignore Physical Strength.

Definitely it was a bad deal for the Gunners. Cesc worth more than just 40m (well, at least considering how mad football values are these days). Moreover, those 5m in 5 years that him is going to pay and the 5m in variables are laughable. I don't if I'm correct of not but I guess that last year Madrid was ready to offer you about 50m for him.

Well, not everything is bad news. You have snapped Joel Campbell apparently.
 
i would not see it so pesimistic..there is plenty time for transfers and you have always quality young players.. but i said it before, you need leadership on field..currently i don´t know who is this type of player... maybe Wilshere will be later.. but now you have no leader and this is very important.. you need a "Patrick Viera" in your defence...

Arsenal are too stupid to have put Thiago in the deal for Fab? but why would they want to get rid of him? he looks amazing. Also why would he want to come to Arsenal?

Also with the deal being shit, what else are we supposed to do? He desperately wants to go and only to one club Barcelona, he is willing to give up 5million of his own money to go. His mind is no longer with Arsenal, we need to get rid and move on. We should have got more for him, but we are in a very unique situation that Barcelona have capitalised on.

Pique and Puyol again showing real class tweeting about it before it is official. I know it is really petty, but I would be so happy if Barcelona won fuck all this season.

Also the Tevez story?! it isn't about Arsenal not having the guts, why the hell would he want to come to us?! As far as I know he doens't want to be in the uk and his wages would be absolutely ridiculous, let alone the fee for him.

So what if he is desperate to go? not our problem. he signed a 6 year deal. did we put a gun to his head telling him to do so? Nope we diddnt. We are desperate to selll nasri not fabregas. why? because nasri can go for free next year and fabregas will have 3 years. yes thats right, 3 YEARS at the end of the season coming on his contract.

You might argue and say whats the point in keepong him when his not fully commnited? Mate a half commited fabregas player is a thousand times better then MOST of our useless cunts in our team and that extra 50% from a player liek fabregas could be the difference in some games.

Also, whos to say he wont be fully commited if he had to suffer another season again with us? if he has a dip in form, he wont be a bench warmer for his national side AND barcelona may lose interest and he will be stuck with arsenal. So in theory, if fabregas was to stay another season, he has no choice but to give it his all for us whether he likes it or not.

Do you honestly think barcelona would ever be interested in fabregas if he was no better then denilson? Exactly my point. If fabregas has one bad season where even Diaby plays better then him due to teh simple fact fabregas goes backwards, Barcelona will most likely lose interest and he probably wont even make the euro 2012 spanish team.

So tell me, why should arsenal sell him now when the ball is truly on our court with absolutely NOTHING to lose out of this?

You just proved my point bobby that we are no longer classed as a top side anymore, all thanks to wenger and the board. making us a team comparable to the lieks of say umm villareal in spain i.e a team that fights to try and be in tyhe chmapions league every season and a team that 9/10 always loses to the top sides(real madrid, barcelona etc).

Such a fucking shame that it is becoming a distance memory where arsenal was once unbeaten for a whole season. Now we get beat by relegtaed teams in a cup final and cannot attrack world class players anymore.

Next that will go is RVP. why stay with these lot when the ambitions of wenger and the board is to breed young players and sell them at a profit? Watch how in 2-3 years time both Wilshere and Ramsey will go too once they hit world class status.

My beloved arsenal club has turned into a fucking feeder club and it saddens me. Saddens me we still have Wenger as our manager and saddens me that our Board only care about profits. nothing more.

No point keeping him on his wages, the major reason I want him gone is because it is going to keep having an adverse effect on our team. This will all start again in December and then next summer. It is disruptive.

I think we will be a much better team without him now, we will have players committed to the club and want to play for us 100% you can't take that lightly.

If he plays shit this season then he will go for even less money than we are getting now.

Thiago wouldn't join us because he is at the best team in the World, simple. Tevez wouldn't join us because he wants to leave the uk and would demand a ridiculous amount of wages.

I haven't proved any of your points Jonney. You can say Arsenal at any point were not a top side because they never won the champions league? there are differing defintitions of a top side. I think we are one of them, but you don't.

If we lose today and our support boo the team, what do you think will happen? I think it will make the team feel even shitter and risk the performances against Udinese and Liverpool etc.

It's a difficult time for us in some aspects, the supporters need to do that and support the team through it, not piss and moan at every opportunity.

I still don't think you are right and you are not some sort of profit Jonney, you are just a extremely negative fan.

Out of curiosity what our your midfield options?

Wilshire, Ramsay, Song, Diaby? I honestly think losing Nasri is a massive fault on Wenger, to somehow let him get to his last year in his contract is terrible.
 
Well to me i would only boo them today fi we lost due to defencive errors echoing past 6 years of the same mistake but if newcastle somehow manage to have a blinder today i wont boo or if the referee wears a newcastle shirt.

IMO its not all about commitment. its about ability. Like i said, a half commited fabregas is still better then most of our players agree?

Look at tevez. he has been very unhappy at city yet he has been argubaly there best player last season. says it all that commitments are not the be all end. its a persons ability that is and when you have a world class player who say is only 50% commited. that world class player will still be miles better then an average player fully committed.

Its true, most teams in the PL would love to be in our bad situation but then again, all teams in the lower league would have love to be in any of teh PL bad postion. horses for courses really. cant really compare us to say Bolton or everton but the worry is that if we keep up running things as they are now, it wont be long till we could possibly be comparable to those two teams.

No one compares us to united and chelsea anymore. where now comparable to spurs and liverpool. shows how we have gone down as a club in its status and what shocks me is that most clubs that goes down it status order usualy is because of managers leaving or change of owners/chairmens in our club but as we all know, Wenger and the board are the same people who helped the club achieve a season without a defeat in the league. So what happened?

How did we become a team who was unbeaten in the league to being beaten in a cup final to a relegated side?n Not to mention no trophy for 6 years? Dont you agree its a bit shocking to be in this situation?

I know Gervinho is a newcomer, but he should have known better. You don't need to be a Premier League veteran to know that Barton is out there to provoke opposition and get people sent off.
What REALLY is a surprise is how Barton gets away with it every single time. The leniency on the refs parts is shocking. Grabbing a player by the shirt like that and starting the whole fight, that would be a straight red anywhere in the world for unacceptable behaviour.
And Gervinho? He fell for it easily, just like Diaby last season. Song also lost his cool and could have been sent off.

Now does Wenger actually lecture his players and prepare them properly before matches? Did he show them last season's tape? Or are they just too fucking stupid to make the same mistakes over and over?

I don't want to hear a single fucking word about MENTAL STRENGTH. That's been clearly a major weakness instead! Our players are too mental and psychologically unstable. I can't remember the last time Barton didn't lure one of our players off the pitch.

As for actual football, there was too little to comment. Once again we didn't shoot enough on goal, instead we seem to be trying to pass the ball into the net.

Wenger has lost the fucking plot for good. This is only the beginning of the end.

Definitely agree with you on that one. We looked flat. Gervinho and Arshavin couldnt pick out a pass all game. We need a real spark in midfield in order to get things goin. Little chip shot crosses in the box half the time. We'll never score any goals like that.

even if you sell this players, you will have enough money to buy someone with quality.. i doubt the money would not be re-invested...and if not..then i say something is wrong with Arsenal..
